I cant believe Golden State would ever give up Lee, Barnes and Klay and I can't believe the Cavs would be that dumb also to give up two number 1 picks and future picks.

Love is really good but he is not an elite player. I would only make those trades for LeBron our Durant.

The stupid thing is, regardless of what Love brings to the table right now, that production is not going to continue if he comes to the Cavs. The Wolves have NO ONE. He shoots it a ton there, so he should average a bunch of points. If he comes to the Cavs, he will sit between 17-18 points just like Bosh did for Miami. The biggest questions for me is, "can that production be replicated by the assets we would be giving up?" My answer would be yes.

Hope Kyrie makes the 12 man roster, that would be great for him.

No.

This is basically just a tryout for the Olympic team.

Yeah, that'll really be a detriment to the Pistons.

Russilo just tweeted that there's 2 rumors going around. 1, that Minn agreed to Wiggins, Bennett and a 1st deal, but then backed out wanting more. 2, that Wiggins was never offered.
If the first 1is true,I'm now in the camp of GFY Minn.

lhslep134;1636973 wrote:Shit yeah you're right good call. I know we're signing him for 120% of the slot but I forgot the cap hold is there even without the signature for trading purposes.

But it's only for $5M so we'd still need to give up more than just Bennett, so how can that really be considered a lesser package?

I knew it, I was right. Wiggins counts as $0 going to Minnesota if he's unsigned.

"Draft picks (both first and second round) count $0 for salary matching purposes. Once the draft pick signs a contract, his actual salary becomes his trade value."

I feel he was never offered up. There is just no fathomable way Minnesota doesn't pull the trigger if the Cavs offered that.

Definitely agree. But whatever, if the media wants to be pieces of shit, let them be pieces of shit.

Hopefully Chris Broussard will never be heard from again after this season. I'm so sick of his sources and him just throwing shit out there

Maybe they want more than just Love for that package. I certainly want more if Wiggins is included, especially Wiggins AND BENNETT.

I still am hesitant to believe that deal was even offered. Why would minny turn down an offer for back to back #1 overall picks, one of which is considered a valuable prospect, for a player they are gonna lose in 11 months?

Keep in mind that most of these stories are released to the public for a reason, and a lot of them probably untrue.

I think it's the Wolves stirring up shit to try to extract more value from other teams. Minnesota would be stupid to turn down Wiggins and I don't think the Cavs are actually willing to give him up either.
