That outcome prompted ESPN Stats & Information's Lee Singer and Ryan Feldman to dig into Kentucky's "clutch" statistics, which they defined as the last five minutes of the second half or overtime with the score within five points. What they found was mind-blowing: In 42 clutch minutes this season, the Wildcats have outscored opponents by 30 points. They score 1.27 points per possession. They allow 0.85.In the past five clutch-time situations alone (against Vanderbilt, Georgia, at LSU, at Florida and at Georgia) Kentucky has outscored opponents 36-9 -- a margin of 67.5 points per 40 minutes. The Wildcats also rebounded 71 percent of their misses on the offensive end and -- despite the defensive glass being one of their only real weaknesses -- 92 percent on the defensive end. In the final minute of close games, Kentucky has held opponents to 0-for-9 shooting.

They're so banged up there's no way they come away from this with a win.

Louisville giving Virginia a hell of a fight tonight. Not sure if they will be able to hold on until the end, however. UVa just does not ever go away. They are incredibly composed.

And right on cue, Malcolm Brodgon calmly nets a come-from-behind three with 9 seconds to go.

Lol.

Virginia, meanwhile, waits until 2.7 seconds to go to make their biggest mistake of the game. A huge win for Rick Pitino's club. That was a fun game to watch. Hopefully Duke and Carolina serves as a worthy encore.

Last 8 minutes of Murray/Belmont should be good. Hoping the Racers pull it out.

Murray St.-Belmont has been the best game of the night. The OVC title game rarely disappoints. Either of these teams could play giant killer in two weeks. While Cam Payne is a ton of fun to watch, so are Belmont's gunners. They can shoot the fuck out of the basketball. They are more accurate from 25 feet than they are from five.
