lol. Sorry, but my thoughts are based in reality something religion lacks and has always lacked. If anything, the atheists in this county need to become more aggressive to stomping out ignorance and punishing those that openly express their moronic views.

Especially since "humanity starts from scratch" again...does that mean we have to wait for "millions of years" to see these evolutionary changes? And are they guaranteed to evolve into humans again?

At least they are trying to replicate this or prove how the world started instead of continually referencing a book written 2000 years ago with contradictions and unproven historical fact. I mean come on man, its all made up. Time to grow up.

Was written 2700 years ago. You need to watch the Life of Pi and then make a decision

I don't really care if it was written 3 days ago; the whole thing is made up and I can't believe in 2014 we still have people that actually believe this crap. The reality is, we have stupid people who procreate and indoctrinate their children into believing myths who then continue the cycle onto their own children. The weapons of religion are fear; both of what happens after we die and the fear of being disowned by family members that are brainwashed with the same belief system. Thankfully, with the advent of the internet and subsequently the entrance into the 'information age' will erode practices that are based in ignorance.

I think it is easier to believe in a God than it is religion, if that makes sense.

Not sure if "religion" would be the correct term for this. Intelligent Design is the better description for this argument.

Science cannot say that the "big bang" was by chance or by design, so they will co-exist until then. However you can make a personal choice:

If you believe there is > 0% probability that the Big Bang was not by chance. Then ID or Religion is something to consider .. picking which is a different process.

If you determine there is 0% probability then the argument stops and there is no co-existing.

Trying to replicate something that may or may not have happened at all? Sounds like what you complain about religious hocus pocus.

Not "picks up" if the designer "created" then the Big Bang was the start of that process. If you believe that is plausible then religion is still in the mix. For fundamentalists in religion, science isn't helping their case. More so on the sexuality than a Big Bang

Religion is simply a vehicle for achieving your spirituality or your connection to our universe or the creator. Keep in mind that much is anthropomorphic to make it easier to understand. Parables, allegories,metaphors...the scientific accuracy is not important...communication of an idea or concept is. Those that rely on scientific accuracy as proof one way or another will be disappointed. Those that are 'religious' will be disappointed every time science and an anthropromorphism are in conflict. Those that are 'atheistic' will be disappointed because science will never fully explain all there is to know because it is not possible, being of finite mind, to know all. No matter which 'side' you are on it comes down to a matter of 'faith'

Science reveals the physical workings of our universe....our universe, and only our universe.

Ok this is just poorly written and thought out.

First, strip all technology from existence and expect a rebound to where we are today in a few thousand years? Proto hominids were using simple tools (technology) by about 2.5 million years ago. That's a helluva difference to make up especially given that knowledge (a function of memory) has been erased too. IDGAF the mental capability modern man carries, without experience and a cumulative knowledge handed down through generations that ability is useless. Additionally, if you want to bring evolution/adaptation into this, having a large brain means more fuel to operate it with which would be especially trying considering the blank slate, no tools humans we're left with. If anything one would expect evolution to move backwards to a more limited capacity given that a large brain would be more of a hindrance than a less complex sub species operating on a eat, don't die, reproduce schedule. Few thousand years my ass

Second, it's repeated, not replicated. You're not increasing the quantity of these things, this is not experimental design, mankind is simply redoing things mankind has once performed.

Last, I can assure you, however, that your story about a talking snake would be gone forever. And replaced with based god flying spaghetti monster.
