@jluckhaupt: Tim Lincecum has 2 more no-hitters against the Padres than Padres pitchers have thrown against every team in history.

VMar is on pace for 45 HRs this year after crushing another one. Previous high was 25, 7 years ago. Has 20 this season before July.

I was wondering the same thing yesterday. He bounced as soon as that Gatorade hit him and he seemed really pissed. It made me laugh.

Top 5 OF throws of the year....#5 you could argue one left off and #4 is as impressive as #2, but #2 ended a game

Both are already top players....they might be fighting for MVP in the end.

Oakland won this game so it is a moot point. However, this is the big can of worms with the video review, when a wrong call is made early in the play that affects how the play continues from there. I think the officials have to make judgments and place the runners and call outs on what would have likely happened if the correct call would have been immediately made and the play continued from there. In this case out on the tag at first and out on a tag that probably would have been made at home, so two outs and no runs.

Either of these reviewed calls in this play could have been reversed without causing consequences in completing the play:

Astros catcher Carlos Corporan was rung up at the plate by Angel Hernandez on a borderline pitch.....Corporan barked at Angel a lot and Angel surprisingly just took it. Then Corporan stops at the dugout steps and rips manager Beau Porter's ass for note fending him. Porter then followed him a let him have it and they had at it with each other for a bit and then 5'3 Jose Altuve breaks it up. Lol
