I'm all for making fun of dlazz for being a hermit, but I'm with him on this. When I go on vacation I want to choose where I go and how I will spend my vacation.

the one im going to was all set up by a travel agent and was super easy to book. .....flight 497$ and $530 for the room per person all inclusive sapphire now riviera cancun. 4 days.

We just booked a 5 night/6 day in a Playa Mujeres all inclusive resort for 2600 total for my wife and I.

Nothing wrong with destination weddings, but the couple shouldn't expect all invited guests to make it. It isn't rude at all to decline spending your holiday/vacation money and time on someone else's party. Nothing rude about politely declining.

I'm just agreeing with the majority - and I'm the bad guy again? Did your mothers (and you assholes know who I'm talking about) raise you to be jerks?

So let it be written, so let it be done, I don't know why a half dozen or so of idiots ruin every thread. If you have a problem you can always PM, but you assholes don't. You just act like pricks on every thread.

It is lame, I never did it, I just call people out for being jackasses - tried to do it privately, yet somehow that didn't work. So now it is public, I'm done with the PM (although apparently ETB isn't since he started a thread about a PM he received).

You are one of the half-dozen of so of people that ruin threads....it isn't just the ones I post on (although I'm flattered by the attention) - I don't understand what you get out of this.

I told people off, not trying to meet them up at random train station or bar where I'm waiting in with a rough guy named Bull.

If you actually think I sent anyone a threatening message, don't work in a real job. I've heard worse on a bi-weekly basis in meetings. Words are different than threats....I just told you guys to bugger off. Apparently you can't handle that, I'll keep that in mind that I'm dealing with some eggshells.

Depends on where it is, the one we turned down didn't because it was a cruise that was for 5 days leaving out of a Texas port, no passport needed. Anywhere else? Probably need one.

You'd be wise to have it with you even in that case, just in case something unforeseen takes place . Especially if you're on Carnival Cruise Lines. :RpS_blink:
