UMASS doesnt even look like they want to be there. Chaz Williams about the only guy with energy and emotion. Too little too late though, they are done.

Shawn Long needs to stay out of foul trouble for them to have a shot. He hasn't been good at that recently.

Laettner isn't at all a Duke homer. I'm sure he doesn't dislike Duke, but every time I've seen him discuss it, he's pretty unbiased.

I wasn't saying Coach K needs to go big and utilize a traditional 5....just have a balanced attack and some type of inside presence.

They shot 36%, 37 of their 62 attempts were from 3 point land. Against...Mercer. LOL

Stanford will get FTs. And then New Mexico will get 2 and the ball. Correct?

According the the rules, that has to be a flagrant against stanford doesn't it??

Stanford SHOULD be allowed to choose any player on the roster to shoot these FT's.

I don't know if they do though?

If I'm a coach, I tell my players to stick my face right into the elbows of any guy trapped or after any contested rebound. The whole flagrant 1 for any elbow is somewhat ridiculous.

You don't get to pick the shooter on a flagrant do you? Isn't it the guy who as fouled? Well he fouled out, so shouldn't Stanford get to pick the shooter?

Crazy stat. Since the tournament expanded in 1985, twenty 1 vs 16 games have been won by 12 or less points. Florida's win yesterday was #21. None of the previous 20 winners of those games won the national title...

Doesn't bode well for the Gators (and possibly Arizona).

Crazy stat buike.

That tells me what we already knew..the winner of the tourney is the team who is playing their best ball in march. If you're not destroying 16 seeds, you're not playing your best ball

Which is crazy because sans Stephen F. Austin, Florida hasn't shown any signs of slowing down. One of the few teams who continued to get healthy and continued to improve...

Arizona, I wouldn't be surprised, but I think many people weren't so confident in them despite having a cakewalk region...

Picked them in my pool....USA Today does good preview capsules on the tourney, and they were all over the potential upset.
