That's not true at all. Just because you have a degree doesn't mean you can't just enlist. You don't just become an officer because you have a degree.Con_Alma;1648348 wrote:...then you wouldn't enlist. You would be commissioned as an officer.
Though since you have a degree it'd make the most sense to become an officer.

He could still enlist even though he has a degree.Con_Alma;1648348 wrote:...then you wouldn't enlist. You would be commissioned as an officer.
My brother enlisted after getting his engineering degree and working in his field for a year. He had a chance to get commissioned or whatever but decided he didnt want to go that route and always said he was glad he chose the path he did.

Yeah, I didn't say he couldn't enlist. I highly doubt sleeper would choose to enlist after learning of the lifestyle differences. I believe he would commission.

Con...remember the kid from Central Ohio I told you about last year that fired the cannon for Navy during the Army game? Tomorrow he is leads the entire Midshipmen Corps into the stadium. One of the toughest kids I ever coached. Is in top 10 in class and leaning towards Helo Pilot.

Early in the game it may pose a problem because that style offense is different and very hard to duplicate in practice. Once the bucks defense gets through 2-3 series they wont have a problem with it.Con_Alma;1648370 wrote:Buckeyes expect Navy's offense to be a handful

I think this being the opener is best case scenario for OSU. When you only have a week to prepare, that offense can be tough. But they've been working on it for weeks or months they say. Only thing I'm really worries about is injuries because of all the cutting.

Any one else on here going to the game?
We got seats in section 152.
Plan on getting up there around 9am and just floating around the bars.

Good for him, If he's top 10 in his class he must be a bright kid. Good for him...and you. I hope you are able to keep in touch with him.

Good advice to his players from Coach Meyer.
http://coachingsearch.247sports.com/Article/Urban-Meyer-Coach-preparation-for-Navy-began-in-the-spring-30634747
"...“I love our plan, but you just can’t sim the same stuff, because they’ll find out what’s going on. More than trying to out-scheme them, after our homework, I remember the guys I respect said, ‘Do not out-scheme them. Out-technique and out-effort them. Just go as hard as you can. Play with your hands. Don’t get cut.’ What I’m finding out, watching our coaches, you have to be very disciplined with your eyes, because they’re going to do the counter option and misdirection. Your keys will take you to the ball, but it’s normal for a defensive player to start to watch the ball. You have to keep your eyes on your target.”"
