I guess I dont mind knowing the results.friendfromlowry;1583422 wrote:I watched something briefly last night (I think it was the pursuit, like you said) where it was skaters switching and then giving each other a push-off every couple laps. That was interesting. The other thing is I hate how NBC saves coverage for prime time when everything happened hours ago and you basically have to avoid television, Facebook, Twitter, etc. if you want to watch without knowing what happened.
Now..if it was a two hour plus game I wouldnt really care to watch if I knew the results, but if I knew Randon Person A won the downhill I wouldnt mind watching it in primetime later.
One thing the witner olympics doesnt have nearly as much as the summer is almost every even having an olympic or world record. In the summer games you can watch for whom wins, but also the records being broken...gives it a little more to be interested in

The only reason I would be inclined to watch some of the many downhill skiing and jumping and boarding and sledding and skating would be to see if an American did surprisingly well. But if I saw the results somewhere else that Finland won gold, Sweden silver, China bronze, and the American competitor was 16th, then what's the point of watching.thavoice;1583890 wrote:I guess I dont mind knowing the results.

True, I guess when I heard/read about how US fared in any said sport I didnt pay much attention to it if I did tune into the olympics that night. How good, or badly, we did reall didnt stick in my mind other than the hockey.friendfromlowry;1583961 wrote:The only reason I would be inclined to watch some of the many downhill skiing and jumping and boarding and sledding and skating would be to see if an American did surprisingly well. This is probably the least I had had watched of the olympics.
