Bad conditions lead to injury. Like the slopestyle course, I'm sure it will get fixed in time.

I'm sure the Russians have shipped in plenty of "Amsterdam Gold" for snowboarding injuries.

I personally love how difficult everything is at these Olympics, gives it more of a US Open feel which is awesome. Everyone has been commenting on how hard the skiing courses are, the luge and bobsled track and the snowboard courses as well. These guys are really having to fight making the events a little more entertaining and gritty

I haven't watched any Olympics so far, and probably won't.

Hope this helps.

On slopestyle the snowboarders were saying they listened to their feedback and fixed it. Something I would guess happens frequently, but there's clearly a story of "Russia unprepared" being pushed every chance you get.

For men's downhill, the announcer was saying Bode Miller and a number of competitors were raving about the course.

Last winter games people were talking about the danger on the luge track, and I think that was before a guy ended up getting killed.

You would think these stoners would just take a few more tokes on their own pipes and chill out. I mean geez...its fkn snowboarding for style points dooshers. Now snowboard racing is a real sport.
Even snowboarders in the winter Olympics are drug tested.

I don't know how women's hockey is an Olympic sport. I didn't even know there were women's hockey leagues.

Seems like if you want a medal, making up a winter games event is the way to go. I'm thinking sledding. I mean ACTUAL sledding like when we were kids - winner is the one who gets farthest down the hill.

I watched the Canada/Finland game today. Good game. It was 0-0 until about 10 minutes left. Finland's goaltender was lights out until then. Shots were like 40-10 in favor of the dirty Canadians.

Is America expected to win/be competitive in the medal count? I feel like every time I watch something that isn't hockey or snowboarding, we're getting destroyed by the European countries.

I'm aware of the results after three or four days. I was more so inquiring about the rest of the Olympics.

There is no competition for total medal count. Don't get caught up on that BS. Each athlete needs to be judged on his or her own merit. Fuck Norway.

Anybody else see the AT&T commercial that has dickweed Shaun White looking like he just walked out of a San Francisco leather bar? Hopefully some other stoner takes him out tomorrow.

I haven't watched but a couple minutes of the Olympics. From what I follow from some of my Dutch friends on fb, the Dutch are demolishing speedskating.

The Dutch swept the 500. It was pretty cool. Twin brothers took gold and bronze, and the dude that took silver was 0.01 seconds back.

Their greatest Olympic hero was Hans Brinker with a dozen gold medals over 4 Olympics I believe.

I didn't stick around to see why they adjust electronically timed scores?
