I've been a gamer my whole life, have a PS4 and Xbox 1...Not a lot of time for gaming anymore with 3 kids but I still play a few times a week.

Clash of Clans is my most played 'video game' of this year by far...I can't get enough. Great that it's portable too, so I can play a little on lunch at work, a little before bed at night, etc. Give it a try.

Anyone ever play Evony? I played that alot a few years ago. Clans reminds alot of that

I'm hitting TH9 defenses hard now, things are slowing down and a lot of gold is needed.

I have teslas moving to level 7 (12 day upgrades), wizard towers going to 7 (7 days), xbows to 3 both almost done (14 days each).

Archer Queen is going to level 10 right now, Barb King is sitting at 8, I'll prob get him to 10 and quit upgrading him since he is a turd now.


I have been barching in Crystal 1/Crystal 2 for 2 months now and finally last night I dropped to gold 2/gold 1 to see if I would have better loot --- Should have done it much sooner..I was spending too much time 'nexting' up in Crystal, so if anyone else is doing that I'd consider dropping to gold.

I believe I might be moving on from my current clan. This past week one of the 10 year old clan leader's 'friend', who he gave Co, decided to boot everyone in the clan then leave. Well him and another person. The Leader was able to get some of the members back, but we went from 45 people down to 20. Sad thing is of that 20, 10 of them didn't participate in the last clan war and we got smoked. Well we have been getting killed after winning 10 wars in a row. Last war only two people got 3 stars on both attacks. (me and one other)

I do know that now that I have dragons I'm liking the game a lot more.

My dark barracks will be done in a day. What can I now make?

Yeah, that would be dumb. I'd move to a new clan.

For my first 4 months or so with COC I was in the first clan I joined randomly..The war update came and everyone in the clan sucked and we kept losing, people stopped being active and just getting donations filled was becoming hard.

I joined a reddit clan and it brought me back into the game...2 wars per week, very competitive and organized, yet still laid back. The one I'm in has a level requirement of 80 and lvl 5 archers required, but they have reddit clans for all levels and styles. We have people multiple people in the 5k+ donates per season, then most everyone else is between 1k - 5k...Requests are pretty much instantly filled.

I think my clan is on a 10-11 win streak.

Right now my clan does 3 wars a week. I wish they would back down to 2 so I can spend time leveling and building my village. but oh well. We fluctuate between 10 and 15 members per war and I am usually near the bottom, so there are few people I can even attack win against.

Left my clan last night. I got pissed at a couple members. We have one guy that constantly jumps then comes back and wants Elder. I called him out on it and then he quit the clan. Another Elder told me to 'put a lid on it' when I mentioned I was glad he left and brought up how he never donated and only took troops. (at one time he donated 34 and received 508) So I said screw it and left. The Co invited me back, but I'm going to take a few days if not longer away. I've donated over 12,000 troops since June. Time for the rest of them to step up and me to build up some elixir.

Our clan has a pretty low requirement of 350 per season, which isn't too hard to do...Ratio isn't that important when you at least hit your 350 and we typically have 20+ people over 1k donates per season. I'm usually at 2-3k, we had one mad man hit 10k last season...I like him.

I read about drama in clans on the clash of clans reddit and that stuff would drive me nuts...Luckily there has been no drama to speak of in our clan, yet will still take the game somewhat seriously, so that's good. We don't allow hoppers though, and the requirements to get in are somewhat high I guess (lvl 80+)

My latest is I'm at level 95 now, mid TH9. Xbows are at lvl 3, Teslas are all maxed except 1, archer queen is 10, Barb King is 9 going to 10 soon. Recent troops have been lvl 6 archers, Pekkas to 3, Golems going to 3 starting tomorrow.

I'm still loving the game, no signs of slowing down yet, but I know that day will come eventually.

I may be looking for a new clan. I'm an almost Maxed (not walls) level 8. I donate around 500-1000 per season. Anyone got openings?

Our clan "reddit force" takes people 80+ and lvl 5 archers required, no rushed bases, so a maxed th8 would prob fit that criteria..We are at capacity right now since a few people joined over the weekend, but 1-2 people are usually kicked and the end of each season for not using war attacks or not donating 350...Awesome clan if you ever see an opening. There is a core of about 45 that have been together for several months or longer, the last 5 spots seem to just come and go...A mix of adults/teens but most of the active people are in their 20's/30's, mostly US but a few from overseas.

I'd recommend the reddit clan system...I was with a random clan I joined for my first few months of the game, then I searched for a more competitive/active clan and just picked one that I fit into out of the reddit clan list and I've stayed ever since and learned a ton about war attacks, etc.

I could get you into mine. We're an active warring clan (usually never more than a couple hours between the end of one war and the beginning of another), if that's your thing.

How many people are in it?

There are currently about 30.

I just joined a random big clan for now. Had to sit out a clan war but last I checked we were up 41-11. Looks like this group just had 25 members, but has recently jumped to 45. Of course some people from my old clan keep popping in trying to get me to return. That's not going to happen at this point.

Come over to "dover clan." I was brought in by someone here, and I've enjoyed it so far. Really no issues at all with where we are as a clan. We war regularly. In a hiatus right now to do some building and upgrading.

The next update will allow gold OR elixir to be used to upgrade walls....awesome.

I'm at a point where I always have 8mil elixir on hand.
