Don't know who it was today but someone on twitter had a going point. On 14 play drives in uptempo offenses, offensive line man don't sub in and out..why should defensive players be able to?
As far as saban, fuck him. He doesn't give 2 shits about the kids. That's his excise because he struggles to stop the style. If he cared about the kids, he wouldn't be sending so many of them packing every year when he made promises to them and their families to take care of them for 4 or 5 years. Fuck that snake.

Someone else made a good point too, if you're doing under the guise of "safety", why not limit the amount of defensive players that can blitz on a given down? I think this rule would certainly cut down on "injuries." There would be a lot less defensive players faking them to slow down the offense.
