I've never heard him talk about cancer during a game. At halftime and being asked about it are completely different things. But even then, seems like an odd thing to even talk about during a halftime. So not sure why they would ask him about it.

Agreed. That's why it seems wrong to me... But to each his own. It does more good than harm, even if it is an annoyance to me.Midstate01;1587087 wrote:But even then, seems like an odd thing to even talk about during a halftime.

Lets be specific here...what game, what was said and where do you know, for a fact, that Spielman iniciated this convo? I'd be willing to bet, he doesn't. If he talks at all on air (again, NEVER have I heard), he is answer questions from another about something. Stop assuming things. If he is asked, he has every right to answer. What is he supposed to do or say?dlazz;1587104 wrote:Agreed. That's why it seems wrong to me... But to each his own. It does more good than harm, even if it is an annoyance to me.

I do think Spielman talks about his charity a little too much but because BREAST CANCER AWARENESS he gets a free pass from PC America.

Sorry. You want to rip on him as an announcer (he is very avg) that is one thing. But to bring up the other personal stuff considering the subject, that is stepping over the line IMO.Heretic;1587184 wrote:You BETTER watch out. Mister RANDOM capitalization IS pissed off now!

I don't even know where to start with this post, so I won't even bother. It sounds like your jimmies are pretty rustled, though.centralbucksfan;1587159 wrote:Lets be specific here...what game, what was said and where do you know, for a fact, that Spielman iniciated this convo? Good. It always seemed like was just common sense, but I guess nobody ever accused the NCAA of having too much of that anyway.Mohican00;1587602 wrote:Brett McMurphyVerified account ‏@McMurphyESPN Rule passes: teams won't be penalized 15 yards when officials overturn targeting penalty sources told ESPN

I was shocked that they tabled the dumbass 10 second play clock rule.
Thought for sure it'd get passed since Lord Saban wanted it

I don't see anything good coming out of this ruling. At all.

Colleges would have no obligation to "hire" union players. Put together a team full of scabs.

It's the beginning of the end of college football as we know it.

It's more of a "fuck the union" strategy than a "win football games" strategy.Mohican00;1596740 wrote:lol, say goodbye to your football program

I understand, but I do not see even half of the FBS programs going with this strategy.Mulva;1596791 wrote:It's more of a "fuck the union" strategy than a "win football games" strategy.

Northwestern should just shut down it's athletic programs.
