It's not lulz at all. But since you don't actually follow Michigan recruiting I wouldn't expect you to actually know anything about what you posted.se-alum;1700668 wrote:Michigan recruiting...lulz!

The only thing I'll say about it is that even Nebraska fans are getting tired of this kids' recruitment (he's committed to Nebraska).

Goes to show how desperate and garbage level the Michigan football program is right now. Let's try to flip recruits committed to Nebraska! LOLWebFire;1700689 wrote:The only thing I'll say about it is that even Nebraska fans are getting tired of this kids' recruitment (he's committed to Nebraska).

I know you don't basically tell a kid to his face he's too stupid for your school unless he plays football there. That's common sense, it has nothing to do with whatever else has happened in his recruiting.WebFire;1700677 wrote:It's not lulz at all. You are right, you don't do that. It's common sense. Now you do the math.se-alum;1700701 wrote:I know you don't basically tell a kid to his face he's too stupid for your school unless he plays football there. Regardless of what Mattison said. It's a bad look to have one of your coaches be kicked out of someone's house by a parent. No way around that.

He may be a good guy. Doubt anyone would even say he wasn't. But area coaches saying he's classy doesn't change the fact he got thrown out of a recruits house.

Or he didn't.
I can't believe you guys actually believe this happened. Oh wait, yes I do.According to this HS coach, the entire situation is a fabrication that shocked the UM recruiters. Mattison wasn't reportedly escorted out of the house, the kid walked him to his car, according to this HS coach, raving about how great UM was. The visit was twisted and the kid and father went public.

You're right. Mattison likely got on a plane to visit a recruit in his house, and told him he was stupid. Derp.se-alum;1700856 wrote:I can't believe you actually think it didn't happen. Oh wait, yes I do.

Obviously I don't think he did it purposefully, just an unfortunate choice of wording.WebFire;1700857 wrote:You're right. Mattison likely got on a plane to visit a recruit in his house, and told him he was stupid. Derp.

Abraham Hoskins Jr., Neal’s father, told 1620 The Zone. "They said without football, Daishon wouldn't be able to go to Michigan. Like we couldn't afford to send him there, or that we couldn't get him in academically. Once he said that, we pretty much escorted him out of the house."
I'll take a parents word over some Internet forum poster...
