The only part that was odd was that it was at the feet of the dead son.

Everything else about that scene makes perfect sense to the plotline. You knew it was coming when Jamie got pissed the episode before. He wants to be in control and Cersei wont let him have that in addition to not letting him have her and being the influence over Joffrey.

I guess they are changing things up from what was done in the book.

No one on here cares about the books.

Hope this helps.

This show needs to be eight, 2-hour episodes. So much shit happens with every plotline.

I could definitely handle that. But I don't really have any complaints - other than we're into the 4th season and still barely know squat about the White Walkers. Meanwhile, I'm getting bored with watching Khaleesi go from village to village freeing slaves.

Nice that they didn't waste any time telling us who killed Joffrey...although I still think Tywin played a role.

Finally caught up with the show, now we're in live mode... and it sucks. Liked being able to watch 3 episodes in a day. Not having read the books, my money is on Daenerys Targaryen and her dragons to reclaim the throne. Wife and I really like her.

Yeah Khaleesi has really kind of grown into a good leader, which is why I'm fully expecting her to either turn evil or die.

Nice that she's freeing slaves and all, but you can kind of see how she's REALLY liking the adulation, growing on her like a drug. Also, gotta read the fine print - you're free to go fight and die for her so she can reclaim the throne.

Does she suck in the books? We like her on TV.

Daenerys can get it, thats enough for me to want every episode to have her in it.

I, too, am getting inpatient with danaerys. I want to see her do more than "free" slaves.

I want to see a dragon rip someone's head off.

Looking at a map on reddit. She's pretty far away from kings landing still. Also I liked her better when she was getting railed or sleeping naked in fire

I completely forgot the guy who got Hodor'd cut off Jaime's hand. I was clueless to wtf was going on in that scene with Bran going into Hodor.

Also, Jon Snow with a top notch kill at the end.

Yeah it ended and thought it was a 20 minute episode.

So little finger has killed 2 kings or 3?

Jon Arryn was the Hand of the King.

Little Finger planned his murder, then planted the idea the the Lannisters were responsible. This is what ultimately got Ned's head chopped off, if I'm not mistaken.

He then masterminded, along with Olenna I assume, Joff's murder.

In short, Little Finder is a boss.

Ultimately sent Ned to King's Landing, sent Jamie to Winterfell, which ended Bran out the window, started the bigger feud between the Starks and Lannisters, etc. Basically set everything (non-white walker related) in motion.
