Excited to see where Arya goes this season and beyond. Also wish they had caught up with Ramses in the opener, but I assume that is to come.

I was happy with last night's episode. I can't wait to see what Arya becomes. She's a fucking beast at like what, 12?

Aemon's line about growing up in King's Landing was great. Well that and about every word out the Hound.

And the statue of King Pube was comical.

Not unless they're legitimized.

I thought they just had secondary rights....The bastard sword smith WOULD be king (at least according to the TV show) since King Pube isn't even a son and there were no other legit sons.

Ted is correct, they can be legitimized, but only by the king. So good luck with that with Joffrey on the throne.

Grantland does a nice feature after every episode that explains back stories you would only know from reading the books without any spoilers.

Just saw a headline that HBO has renewed GoT for two more seasons!

I was worried, based on what people have said about the last book and that despite its huge popularity I'm guessing this is also the biggest budget production HBO has ever had (and they pulled the plug on at least a few popular shows for precisely that reason).

Its their biggest budget, but I have a feeling its also their biggest money maker, by far. Subscriptions have to have soared during this run. I know of at least 10 friends who know have HBO because they wanted to watch GoT and couldnt wait for the DVD release, etc.

those friends should just all use each others HBO GO... you'd really only need 2 or 3 people to sign up and share the info (assuming these people all like each other...)

I love HBO Go, but I also have a device I can use to watch on my TV (AppleTV).

They dont, and they are like me, dont want to watch my TV shows on my laptop or anything.

Did he sandwich it in between Michelle Obama skits that make the ACA seem hip?

Belly has given up on sentence structure and is receding into strings of incomplete thoughts.

For as much death as there is on this show the two people I want to die simply won't.
Geoffrey because he is so hated (although having him live for a long time will do wonders for a storyline)
and Theon Grayjoy. I don't dislike Theon I simply feel awful for him and wish he would be put out of his misery.
