That makes Smith's YPA less impressive...

Nothing like the receiver handing it to the defender for an interception!

I understand zero of that.

My post was saying that YES his YPA is right near Weeden, but what separates Weeden the wrong way is that he is dead last in completion %....no clue how that makes Smith's YPA less impressive. There isn't anything impressive about his YPA....I'm saying YPA isn't greatly telling.

If he was solely a game manager he wouldn't scramble so much.....he would throw it away.

YPA is yards per attempt. Attempts factor in incompletions. Weeden and Smith each throw 100 passes. Weeden completes 53, Smith completes 61. They each throw for 650 yards, or 6.5 YPA.

It took Smith 8 more completions to throw for the same amount of yardage, indicating he is prone to checking down or throwing short to safety outlets. It's a very relevant stat when discussing a "game manager" label.

Ok....sounds good. I was unaware it factored in incompletions.

Lol....Laron Landry knocks himself out on the receivers knee and after the play his teammate comes over and smacks him in each temple 5 times to celebrate.

No....Colts take that lead and Succop MAKES a 41 yarder to win it.

What's your extreme beef with the Colts?
