I'm hoping this is a repeat of the last Rose Bowl matchup w/ Oregon.

Everyone thought the "explosive" Ducks led by Masoli would torch OSU. Didn't happen.

I hope we get a similar result for sure, but we did have a much better defense then too.

You're either getting bad info or misread the line, haha. Ohio State is a 2-3 point favorite everywhere, but I see where one site had it open at Ohio State -5.

If so, find me the bookie that is supporting this line. I will gladly take OSU +5.

Haha we also had Malcolm Jenkins, James Laurinaitis and Marcus Freeman on that defense

Laurenaitis is establishing himself early in his career as maybe the best NFL LB to have ever played for the Buckeyes.

I thought Cousineau was the greatest OSU linebacker or Khatzenmoyer! College is way different than the pros!

I said "early" and he continues to progress he will be better than Gradishar.

Oh yeah! Shoulda looked it up first. Either way that team had a monster D-Line with Heyward and Gibson anchoring it, Homan at LB and Coleman at safety. Really though that whole D had no weak spots, this one is awful against the pass

No. Long way to Spielman, very long to Randy, and I wouldn't even say he's better than AJ right now. Don't forget that Hawk made a Pro Bowl a few years ago and is one of the top tacklers since entering the league

I can't comment because I have absolutely no reason to watch the Rams play, but my vote goes to Storm Klein.

I dunno, the closest Hawk has ever came to a 100 tkl season was his rookie year when he had 84. Laurinaitis has done it 3 times already. I'd take him over Hawk, though AJ has made a really nice career for himself.

A.J. Hawk married Brady Quinn's sister. Brady Quinn and James Laurinaitis are NFL teammates.

Hawk also has a pretty good LB that takes a lot of them from him as well back there

Brad Jones? I would say Ogletree in St. Louis is better than Jones. Matthews is strictly a pass rusher, and Nick Perry just isn't very good.
