That's kind of conflicting though. They've never had high attendance at spring games (and, BTW, OSU hasn't always either). Yet they are one of the most storied programs. McLean, who earned All-Met honors as a junior last fall, visited Happy Valley Saturday for the Nittany Lions’ spring game, which attracted more than 70,000 fans.
