They are sad because they don't sell out a practice, even though they continue shattering actual game attendance records? : thumbup:

I wouldn't call it "sad", but 15k for a school like UM is rather weak.

That being said, I think the hype for spring games is stupid.

It's always been that way at Michigan.

Because they have the biggest stadium? I guarantee if OSU had a 150,000 seat stadium it would fill up

They have the biggest stadium, so they should fill it for the spring game? Good logic there.

Where o' where did Classyposter58 ever suggest Michigan should "fill [their stadium] for the spring game"?
I believe all he was insinuating was that UM should be getting more than 15,000 as a major D1 program.

Why? Is there a prize for attendance of a practice? Does it count as a win in the fall? Does it help your ranking to start the season?

Plenty of schools don't have large spring game attendance. Michigan doesn't hype theirs up. I'm not sure why some Buckeye fans get their panties in a bunch over it.

Officially announced OSU game times:

Navy - noon
Va Tech - 8 PM
Penn State - 8 PM
Illinois - 8 PM

Interesting to see a November game at 8 PM. Did the Big Ten finally get rid of that rule?

Yes. Teams can play them but the visiting team must approve it.

I don't believe it was ever an actual rule though.

I think before it was a rule you couldn't play conference games at night in November.

They were talking on the radio this afternoon about it being an unwritten rule. Basically the typical old school Big Ten shit.

I see. Could be. I guess I've never really seen it in writing.
