@TIM_MAYsports: Ryan Shazier ran a 4.36 40 unofficially then popped a hammy at OSU pro day. "I blew a tire" as he put it.

Shazier is a straight fucking boss. Had some issues with wrapping in college, but by far my favorite OSU LB of all time.

I want the Bengals to Draft Shazier so bad. Dude was a badass at Ohio State from day one, think he can be a stud in the NFL.

I doubt Shazier is Shazier's Mom's all-time favorite LB...that's just stupid.

Shazier is certainly one of the best but OSU has pumped out many very good linebackers who were equal to or arguably better than Shazier during my lifetime.

I'd add (just to name a couple :)):

Randy Gradishar
Chris Spielman
A. J. Hawk
Pepper Johnson
James Laurinaitis
Tom Cousineau
Steve Tovar
Matt Wilhelm
Marcus Marek
Andy Katzenmoyer
Jim Laughlin
Bobby Carpenter
Dirk Worden
Mark Stier

Ok Sparky you've gone a little overboard with Stier, Worden, Carpenter and Wilhelm (where's Partly Cloudy Klein?) ...but yes the rest of your list were better LBs than Shazier.

Spielman, Hawk and Laurinaitis for me, but Shazier's definitely up there.

Carpenter was a top 20 draft pick
Wilhelm was a first team All America

Cant speak for the old goats listed, but Shazier will be a better pro than Hawk, Lauranitis, Carpenter, and Wilhelm. Take it to the bank.

Shazier better than Hawk? Huh, lol he had issues wrapping up and taking the ball carrier to the ground which is his main job as a LB but you wanna rank him number one? Hawk was like a damn hawk, just all over the field and brought down everything that moved

I might have missed it, lol, but I don't see anyone claiming Shazier was better than Hawk in college, lol. Pick6 said that Shazier will be a better PRO.

I doubt Shazier will be a better pro than Lil' Animal or Hawk, but we shall see.

Still don't know why he was getting killed over that? He didn't say he thought he's the best OSU LB ever, just his favorite. Hell, he might be my favorite if I had to choose, I loved watching him play the past few years.

He's getting killed because grown men don't say a random athlete is "my all time favorite..." anything. He's either "the all-time best..." or "he's one of my favorite players". Pick 6 sounded off like a middle school girl telling us about her "all time favorite Boy Band".
