Way worse than "There's Something About Mary" to be honest.Ironman92;1795803 wrote:Is Deadpool worse than There's Something About Mary for being appropriate for a preteen?

I watched interstellar over the weekend. Good cast, result was meh. 6/10 and the ending almost makes me want to dock another point

Pride and prejudice and zombies. It was OK but not great. I'm not a big fan of zombie movies but there were a couple of funny twists on the book that made me chuckle.

I agree. Interstellar could have been SO much better with the plot it had. Then, the ending...come on, you can't be serious.Mulva;1795918 wrote:I watched interstellar over the weekend. Good cast, result was meh. 6/10 and the ending almost makes me want to dock another point
The "sciency" stuff was very good/accurate with time dilation on that planet near the black hole, etc. Then, they end it with that? (trying not to spoil the ending).
I agree with the 6/10 but I already "deducted" a point for the terrible ending.

I loved Interstellar until the end. But it was still an 8/10 for me. The 2 hours leading up to that we're top notch.

I thought Interstellar was fantastic. To be fair, I went in without much expectation. Admittedly, the end was a little flacid, but up to that point, I loved the pulling on the audience that the writers achieved.

It musta been an Interstellar weekend or something...I watched in for the first time too.
I enjoyed it. Glad I took the time to watch it, was skeptical going in as I'm not much of a "sci-fi" type movie guy.

Overall I would definitely recommend the movie to everyone. I would even recommend it to those in the science fields who understand relativity, etc. However, for those people that understand relativity and astrophysics I would highly recommend to them to avoid the end and just go with "he died" in their mind as an ending.O-Trap;1796038 wrote:I thought Interstellar was fantastic. Neighbors 2 - eh, I may have laughed 3 times. Just like every other sequel, they tried too hard.

The Finest Hours - coast guard movie with Chris Pine. I can't put my finger on it but just didn't like it. Kind of boring. 4/10

Nice Guys, the funniest movie I have seen since Dead Pool. 9 out 10. You can also tell what Russell Crowe has been doing the last few years, eating.

The Night Before - 6/10. I thought it was funny, but the misses thought it was obnoxious. Then again, I love stupid comedies like this.
Ride Along 2 - 2/10. I watched this movie for two reasons: Tika Sumpter and Olivia Munn. How many times is Ice Cube going to play a cop? yawn.
