I don't ever have to rank movies this low lol. I guess I'll change it to 2.5 out of 10. I have a long history of rating movies partly by if I enjoyed it or not. There were a couple half way entertaining parts, but it looked like they filmed it in like 3 weeks. Stephen King probably did multiple facepalms during the screening.Commander of Awesome;1865716 wrote:REALLY? I'm shocked, getting killed on the rating sites.
I should have watched Detroit. Ha

The stanford prison experiment on Netflix. Based on true story. Pretty interesting. 7.5/10.

Life - 6/10.
I was entertained to be sure. But it was also pretty dumb, little to no plot, and made way too quickly.

Annabelle Creation - 6.5/10
I'm always skeptical of sequels/prequels and I was definitely skeptical of this one because Annanelle wasn't very good but this movie is twice as good as Annabelle.

How widespread is its acceptance? The one downside to watching movies online for free is that you usually have to wait until they come out on video to get decent resolution and sound quality.Iliketurtles;1867282 wrote:No but my local radio station mentioned it the other day. Some guy on Reddit made a site to find theaters but Reddit is down right now.O-Trap;1867285 wrote:How widespread is its acceptance? The one downside to watching movies online for free is that you usually have to wait until they come out on video to get decent resolution and sound quality.

Watched Guardians 2 on my flight to San Diego today. I always enjoy movies more on the planes, so take that for what it's worth lol.

Alien Covenant...3/10
Quite disappointing, despite being somewhat prepared for it do to very mixed reviews. The ending sucked, and the aliens sucked. And the plot in between wasn't all that compelling.

That's disappointing. I loved Prometheus, so I had high hopes.gut;1867986 wrote:Alien Covenant...3/10

Alien might be a series that needs to take a long, long nap. Two great films and all downhill from there.gut;1867986 wrote:Alien Covenant...3/10

As a sci-fi fan, I'd say I still enjoyed even the bad ones. But Covenant is in a league of suck all its own - arguably worse than the last Predators movie that may have been straight to DVD (the one where they abduct mercenaries to a planet that's a game reserve)Heretic;1867993 wrote:Alien might be a series that needs to take a long, long nap. It's a well made movie. Obviously lower end budget, the dialogue and plot was well done. Simple, straightforward, not trying to trick you murder movie. Renner was really good.SportsAndLady;1868870 wrote:Damn i want to see that..i've heard really good things

"Florence Foster Jenkins" - 7/10
The wife decided to rent this over the weekend. I remembered seeing the trailer some time back and was mildly amused by it but not enough to want to see on the big screen. Nevertheless, a pretty good choice from Mrs. Zunardo.
At times it felt like watching "Poirot" on PBS, or "Remember WENN" on AMC. The charm of this movie was its ability to slowly lead you into seeing why people, especially her husband, friends, and accompanist, did everything they could to support Ms. Foster Jenkins' ambitions, no matter what.
Did not know it was based on a true story.

Annabelle: The Creation - 5/10
Not enough nightmares, I can still sleep at ease. Good plot to start The Conjuring franchise though.

What would you rate Annabelle then? Because I thought Creation was better than Annabelle.plusultra;1869175 wrote:Annabelle: The Creation - 5/10

I actually want to see this movie, just wondering if your 7 is inflated
Seriously though, I plan on see this one in the next week or so, looked funny.

I saw this one over the weekend, and I agree, it is definitely the worst Alien movie. Predictable, the Aliens looked terrible, the action was not great. The end was bad, etc. The ending was so obvious that it ruined it's "gotcha" moment.gut;1867986 wrote:Alien Covenant...3/10

I would go with about a 3/10 as well, I want to give it a 2 but it wasn't completely trash. There were parts that were entertaining.
