I still think Lion was the best movie last year.
Agree with this. That was an outstanding film. It was based of a wonderful story, but the way the film was made did complete justice to the story. A superb movie.

Tartantino's movies either agree with you or they don't - that's what I've found. They are dialogue driven with a plot being secondary, which is not to everyone's taste. I remember when Pulp Fiction came out. I went to see it with a buddy and thought it was perhaps the most amazing film I'd ever seen. I was about to say as much to him on the way out but then he said, "What the f*** was that?"

My wife cannot tolerate any variation in the timeline. She hates QT movies.

Pulp Fiction, for me, is fine. Not in my top 5 QT movies, but I didn't hate it. So I agree with your point.

I would say the same to this. There was something that was missing the mark and just seemed flat. They did make a solid overall point about the war(s) in the middle east though.

Never saw Hacksaw Ridge.
I thought Moonlight was meh. 6.5/10. It needed more Remy Danton.

Moonlight 8.5/10 still liked Hell or High Water as movie of the year.
Newest xXx 3.5/10 straight trash
The Fighter 3/10
Hassan Minhaj Homecoming Queen not a movie, but putting it in here. Wasn't that funny, and performed like a tedtalk. Don't get the twitter hype 5/10
Allied Not well acted, decent story, dumb ending. 5.5/10

Like...the Christian Bale/Mark Wahlberg movie? I don't think I've seen anyone dislike it that much.

There is no way. He has XXX at 3.5. No one in their right mind could have those 2 movies rated anywhere near each other.

Okay that makes more sense.

I have been slacking on movies, but I am seeing Wonder Woman tonight and I am very jazzed about it.

Wonder Woman....

Ok, by far the best DC movie since the Dark Knight Trilogy. This one did not suck story line wise like Suicide Squad, and did not have "WTF moments" like "our mom's have the same first name!" like BvS.

It was well thought out story line wise, and once the backstory was complete, the action scenes were well done.

I would say even better than most Marvel single background story movies (Thor, Hulk, etc).

8.5/10, I was honestly rather surprised, figured it would suck like the last 2 DC movies. It gave me hope that they won't mess up Justice League.

Wonder Woman- 9/10. Very Strong origin movie. DC got this one right.

Not sure where I rate this amongst Superhero movies as I have seen them all and need to think it out but easily Top 5. Only onesI can say for sure I liked better were Winter Soldier and Dark Knight.

BTW Gal Gadot is my new Celeb crush.

This will be on my flight to France at the end of the month, I believe. Are there parts that will get edited out, or is just a solid thriller without any language/sexual stuff that planes edit?

Wonder Woman 9/10. It was really great. Gal Godot was so good. I loved how in detail they went about the back story was something DC movies have lacked.
