After settling down, this loss is on Withers, Coombs, and Herman. 3 TD's givin' up by Barnett and Pitt Brown. Then terrible play calling.

Ohio State had better wins than FSU. Wisconsin is as good as Clemson. The B1G has better overall teams than the ACC.

The more I look at this game, the more I'm glad they lost this one instead of shitting the bed at the NCG.
Call me pessimistic, but I don't think our defense could stop Florida State.
OSU didn't lose today because of poor play calling or poor offensive production. They ran all over Michigan State's defense, which is what they obviously had planned to do.
This one is entirely on the defense. Shazier was playing out of his mind, but Barnett and the rest of the secondary were taking the day off. Again.
From what I've seen the past few weeks I can safely say OSU didn't deserve to play for the title, and I am glad they aren't. I'd rather them drop this one and crush Clemson or whoever in a BCS bowl.

Sure, there are rankings. Great. There's also some subjectivity here. I tend to judge a team by what they have DONE. So, Clemson is 10-2 and Wisconsin is 9-3. Other than that, I agree..this one is on the defense. If you said OSU would rush for what they did against MSU, I woulda said OSU wins going away. The defense just didn't step up. The first series was telling...MSU ran off like 7 min, OSU had two poor defensive penalties on 3rd down. That first drive set the tone IMO.

Wisconsin beat BYU (a better win than ANYONE on Clemson's schedule). 2 point loss to ASU, 7 point loss to OSU and 7 point loss to PSU. Clemson got blasted by FSU. They got pretty much shut down by South Carolina. They DID NOT PLAY the #2 (Duke), #3 (Miami) or #4 (Virginia Tech) teams in the ACC. Their only quality win was Georgia, who was 8-4.
Clemson was a product of not only a weak OOC schedule, but they also managed to have the weakest in-conference schedule a team could have.
