Lol I agree. No way I'm ever turning down tickets to a super bowl with flight included.

But yeah props to that dude.

I mean id more than likely take the tickets..but I really have no desire to go to the Super Bowl this year. I don't really care about either teams and I'd have to sit outside In the cold no thanks on that.

I could easily see myself turning down tickets to the game this season.

Surprised he would turn down those tickets.

but anyways.....

I think the SB would be great to go to, but I would only really want to go if the steelers were in it. The games just dont seem as great when your team is not playing. Been to the steelers/packers game and the playoff game with the bengals/chargers this year. Yeah, was fun, but not a great time at all. Sports are just more fun to attend when "your" team has skin in the game!

Friend went to the steelers SB in detroit and said it was a blast, something he will never forget, but he said all and all he wished he woulda stayed back home and partied with us. Even though it was close, less than 3 hours, the hassle and everything wasnt worth it.

I think if turn down tickets every year. I'll take the flight out to the city to party, but I have no desire to watch the SB in person. It's a game that is way better seen on TV.

Most games are better seen on TV. HOckey pretty much is the only thing better in person in terms of actually watching the game.

More I think of it........i would probably turn down SB tickets if it wasnt the steelers playing. Even at that....I would only go if at least 3 of my steeler buddies went as well.

Now, the browns if they do things right can be there within 5 seasons.

Slightly disagree.

TV can be awesome, but Ill go to the WS, NFL Playoffs (50-50 for me), Final Four or World Cup any day of the week. Anything where the atmosphere is amazing, with fans of the teams in attendance is good for me. Plus, you get replays of everything now. Super Bowl though...just doenst match that.

I guess it would be cool to be in attendance to a WS and such, and if was a free ticket then yeah, but if I am going lay down any jack I am wanting my team in it! Only reason I went to the bengals/chargers playoff game was becuae i know my stepson's lifelong dream (he is only 8 so that was a joke) was to go to a bengals playoff game...that and since bengal fans werent loyal enough to actually buy tickets themselves. It was fun, ok, but doesnt get teh blood pumping ike attending a game your team was playing in.

You know, of all those, even though I'm not a soccer fan, World Cup probably be the best for being there live. Just for the atmosphere and I get the idea that soccer is one of those sports that translates better to being in person. To me, it's like watching paint dry on TV, but being there live with the whole vibe of the stadium just looks fun as hell.

Nah man, I was talking about going even with free tix if your team was NOT involved.
Been there/done that for NFL...not quite as fun.

I'd rather go to a Super Bowl my team wasn't in, so I could actually enjoy all the promos and gimmicks. I want to be in Cleveland whenever they finally make it, if I'm still alive.

Browns have hired Dowell Loggains as 'something' on the offensive side of the ball. As of this point it is speculated he'll be QB coach, but.....ughhhh maybe he'll be the OC.

Kinda of really speaks to where this franchise is at and the cluster**** that this coaching firing/search has become.

Social media is too much for the local media. From all accounts the Browns have been thorough in their hiring's since getting dissed by Gase...how is it a bad thing when they hire and former OC to be the QB coach? If the local media would've given the story time to come out, we would all know thats what happened....instead they freak out because SOMETHING NEED TO BE DONE NOW

Damned if you do damned if you don't. In previous coaching hires, the browns were ripped for "rushing" to hire somebody. Some people just enjoy to bitch.

I don't understand the desire for head coaches that were head coaches sitting at home or just got fired. Give me a guy like Pettine who is out to prove something over a guy who has failed somewhere else and will bring the same failed logics here.
