Actually hearing rumors that the Texans HC, Bill O'Brien, who had Hoyer in New England is interested in acquiring him to be Houston's starter. Have heard they may offer as high as a 2nd rounder, which is insane.

This is a problem. Peter King was in Browns camp yesterday and said the team is in a "world of hurt at the WR position." That being the case, I'm not so sure I'd want to start Manziel. Yes, he can make plays with his feet but if he has no faith in his WR's, he's going to run a lot more than he should. I'd really love to see them find some way to get Andre Johnson.

He's not the only one saying this. I've heard their "reliable" guys (Miles Austin & Andrew Hawkins) are dropping balls right & left. The only reliable target will be Cameron and if they shut him down the offense will become predictable (stack the box with 8 or 9 and stop the run).

That being said, I do feel that our WR group isn't going to be as bad as the media is making it. I think Hawkins is going to be very good and if Austin can stay healthy we know he's got #1 talent.

King probably just needed something else to write about the browns other than "does grossmans signing mean hoyer is going to get cut!?!?"
