Especially if he's picking up the tab.

I hate Bieber just as much as the next guy, but that doesn't mean I wouldn't love to be part of his crew for a night... I can't even contemplate how much fun that'd be.

Next thing you know, he'll be hanging out with other douchers like Lebron. :D

This is true. It'd be a coin-flip if it changed Bieber's douchiness, but there's at least a chance!

Now..if he plays well this season that can be a totally different story so why not try?

I expect him to not sign one unless they offer quite a bit, which I dont see happening
If the Browns are smart, it's an incentive laden deal that is two tiered, a) here's what you can make if you're the starter and b) here's what you can make if you're the backup.

If Hoyer's smart, he should probably take the deal. I'm assuming that it's more money than he's ever made due to his less than spectacular career and what if he gets injured while rolling the dice to see if he's the starter and should get starter money? Then he's really screwed. Big gamble on his part. Especially coming off of knee surgery.

As normal folk sometimes we cannot imagine turning down a mult-year deal for the money he will get even if it is not much by NFL standards. I feel he, or shall I say his agent, will not take a deal and gamble on playing, playing well and getting a bigger deal.

Problem with the incentive part, in this case, is how much of a legit chance is he going to get? The first bad pass, INT, and loss is going to have the city calling for Manzbieb and at some point they will make him the starter.

Agree with whomever stated before that signing him also makes him easier to trade.

Best case scenario is we sign him to a decent deal for 3 or 4 years that becomes extremely tradeable if he plays well (this is the tricky part: as of now it seems impossibly hard for Manziel to show he's better long term while Hoyer is playing well enough to become an attractive trade target).

For Browns fans, this is pure GOLD. So much about what this guy is saying is SO right. I've seen almost every kind of type that he describes, at some point. Read it and enjoy.

^^ I know it's from a couple weeks ago, but I lol'd at the article Mary Kay wrote about Manziel's drinking problem and how he needs to be evaluated by a chemical dependency counselor. She sucks.

The great part about Hoyer not signing a deal, Is that he will try to play for a contract. He still has the passion for the Browns being a childhood fan living his childhood fantasy. You just never know when you will catch lightning in a bottle AKA Tom Brady. Not saying Hoyer is Brady...but a guy can dream right?

Seriously... everyone was going nuts when we were considering trading him. Now ya'll are seeing why I wasn't against it.

Once a dirtball, always a dirtball. This dude's not gonna change, and he's likely played his last down in the NFL.

At this point it barely even shocks me. If they can get anything for him tradewise, do it. Otherwise hold on to his rights since we don't have to pay him while hes suspended which more than likely will be 1yr + now.
