I'm indifferent about hard knocks. I've never really thought of them being at training camp a distraction for previous teams on the show, but they didn't have JFF. So who knows.

I just wanted to see it for selfish reasons really.

The whole distraction thing is blown out of proportion imo. There are maybe 15 more people there than normal. The only difference is they have access to the coaches and team meetings.

Understand and agree. I'd kind of like to see it but I don't want it to turn into a spectacle. JFF rides on a blowup unicorn (or whatever it was), in a pool, while drinking a bottle of champagne and the media turns him into an axe murderer. At least he knows how to play the "game" by wearing a Cavs hat to the NBA Finals. :D

As far as thavoice's comment goes, he could eventually be traded but for as good as he's been, I doubt they'd get much. At least not nearly what his true value should be, if he weren't a dumbass.
He would warrant a draft pick that is for sure, AND you can control to a point where he would go. Release him and he very well could end up on a contending AFC team.

The hard knocks thing....I have never really watched it but it will be less of a distraction than the legions of fans who will flocking to training camp. Some guys may act/say diff things when the camera's are around but doubt it becomes a distraction.

Most of the teams on hard knocks get good karma and make the playoffs.

Eh it's been 50%. But only 2 out of the 8 teams didn't win at least 7 games after being featured on Hard Knocks.

I think the Browns would have been really good for the show but completely understand why they would turn it down. I really just hope it's not a team like the Jags.

Pretty much spot on. Just compare their attendance #s to when they were making the playoffs to the last 2 seasons when they went .500. They were near the bottom LOL. Cue thavoice with a long winded response claiming how he is not a bandwagon fan.

Check again your numbers again....average attendance, and home percentage.

Reminds me of Indians fans who go on and on about the sellout streak in the 90s and how great they were, yet their average attendance is on par with a middle of the road MAC football team

In 2013 Pittsburgh was #30 in average attendance and #28 in home percentage. PATHETIC.

I was referring your statement about the past 2 seasons. They weren't that low in 2012.

And yet tigers fans still will never come close to reaching 455 straight sell outs. Like I said before, until you do that, STFU. Not to mention you're one of the most fickle fans on this website. Hell, you are nowhere to be found if the tigers are down 1 run, but we sure as well will see you post if they somehow find a way to take the lead.

Also, big difference between selling out 8 games and 81 games every season. Not only that, but tribe fans don't even come close to claiming they are the best, nor does the media. Nice fail little guy.

The point is their attendance has been on a downward trajectory since their last SB season. It went from one of the top, to now near the bottom. Don't feed me bullshit about how steelers fans are the greatest. And yes when you compare the 2012 season (their first season they didn't take the playoffs in awhile) to the previous season they made the playoffs, there is a drop.

When were they near the top?

Average attendance doesn't mean shit when you have stadiums that vary in size. I look at the percentage.

Pittsburgh fans claim greatness because they are all over and travel well, much like OSU. It really bothers you doesn't it? lol

Apparently it bugs you since you had a swift response in a Browns thread lol. I just commented on the article and the point they made. Not my problem steelers fans are a complete fraud when they claim they are great fans.

Also they "travel" well, because they have a bunch of bandwagon fans. Oh, so you live grew up in washington and you are somehow a steelers fan? LOL. I am sure that bandwagon is shrinking each year that goes by without a playoff appearance.

And to be fair I guess they weren't near the top (since average numbers are a bit skewed), but their percentage sure as hell has dropped.

I'm just wasting time until I can gtfo of this office.

"Greatest" is pure opinion, but they are definitely up there. I'd say the same for Cleveland and Green Bay, probably Seattle now also.

Google "best NFL fan bases." I'm assuming you think only Pittsburgh fans are putting themselves up there...ammirite?

Pittsburgh's fanbase, LIKE CLEVELAND's has been praised since way back.

Typical, nice little out clause for when you get pwned. If you're going to be moronic and defend pathetic steeler "fans" least go all in.
