Actually, pencils helped win battles in Europe in the 1600's and beyond, serving as an invaluable portable tool to record and report important information.

My bad....I read the posts incorrectly.

I think he'll just barely make it or just miss. I think he's very close. You think Ben will make it....I think Ward is more deserving.

The 1600's are definitely overrated.

I only think Rapist will make it because the media jerks off to QBs, especially QBs who have rings. You win a couple rings as a QB and it will hide many of your flaws (see Eli as well), when it comes to HOF voting. I think neither deserve to be in the HOF, but I won't be surprised to see Rapist get in. Whines Ward on the other hand would dilute the value of the HOF.

Honestly, without doing any research so I might miss somebody, but the only player in recent steelers history that deserves to be a HOFer is troy imo.

Probably not recent but Woodson.....I'd go Ward over Bettis too.

Their success over the years and your most recent point kinda complements how they've done things without actual superstars and HOFers (deserving).

I don't consider woodson recent, and yes he deserved to be in the HOF. I am speaking more of the steelers rosters since whines and rapist have been playing.

Also you are right. They have created teams with a lot of good players but no real superstars, and play team football. Kinda like the patriots first SB title.

Fattis and Whines both do no deserve to be in the HOF.

I don't know....just thinking both are borderline IMO, but after researching it'll be hard to keep Bettis out as he is 6th all-time in rush yards and 10th in rush TD....those are awfully high up there .
Media sucked on him like few others...I'll be shocked if he doesn't get in.

walking dead and game of thrones

BTW if you like brick oven pizza try cucinova pizza at easton in Columbus. It's like a chipotle where they make your crust and you go through the line choosing from about 25 toppings. Then they throw it in the brick oven and bring it to you when your done. The best part is their beer selection is actually pretty good with fathead and Kentucky bourbon ale right on tap. It's a new concept by Sbarro who I normally hate.

Soccer is very underrated in this country. No idea how you could call it "overrated"

Almost all chain restaurants are overrated...except Ruth Chris (which actually is overrated, relative to good steakhouses), Gibson's and Morton's. I like Bahama Breeze, too. Oh and BW3's stlll tops most wings places.

Reps, and I enjoy the film, but the top rated film on imdb.com? It is ok, but very manipulative. Speaking of which Forrest Gump....I enjoyed it back in the day but looking back it wasn't just manipulative, but a bad film. We're to expect that a guy that was an all-American football player (apparently the NFL didn't exist then), war hero, Olympic champion, business magnate and guy that ran from one end to the country and back wouldn't be the most famous person in the world? Naw, he just had a box of chocolates because this is heart-tugging maudlin film....that sucks.
