LaRosas should not be on any worst lists. SMH.

Pizza Hut is no doubt the worst IMO. Little Caesars isn't great but it's $5 for a large so it's good for getting 2 pizzas and watching the games on Sunday. Their deep dish is actually pretty good as well.

I think all the national chains suck but I went to school in Columbus, the pizza capital of the world.

Donatos is not what I would consider a national chain, but its very good.

Poor people eat National Chain pizza

I stick to the local shops, Pizza Oven, Zeps and others ...

Pizza Oven Fans in Canton.. Take note: The Shop on route 62 has the older ovens and the pizza is not as greasy and cook even ... lot better taht the other pizza oven shops.

It's a small chain but in Athens Hungry Howies is the worst, it's like eating cardboard, followed by Dominos

the best would be Avalache or Court Street pizza

I didn't read the whole thread, so this may have been said, but if Papa John's was so nasty, why would you go back to the well 3x's? After a second shitty pizza they would've gotten the banhammer.

There is a Hungry Howies in Alliance. The only positive they have going for them is their flavored crust. the pizza sucks.

And Little Caesars sucks for the most part but that new $8 deep dish thing they have is solid.

True, but to me, it seems that with the $5 takeout deals, you get the shittiest stuff they have. I remember back in FAT HERETIC days, I'd do the lunch buffet at Pizza Hut because that's what fatasses do. Not great pizza, but it's filling and got the job done and occasionally, I'd get a slice that was legit good. Once got one of their evening $5 takeouts and it absolutely sucked in comparison. Crust was like cardboard and the thin layer of cheese provided more grease than anything else.

I guess when it comes to getting what I pay for, I'd rather pay more than be satisfied with $5 takeout. Unless it's a binge-drinking party day when your taste buds are going be drowning in beer and you're eating to just stuff something in your face. Which might be why I have fond memories of Papa John's. Because in college, that was their purpose -- Saturday/Sunday afternoons of drinking all day and getting the 4 large/$20 deal.

Yeah, have to agree. For $5 ya can put up with the subpar pizza without putting forth any effort.

CiCi's pizza buffet isnt very good. Same idea as LC though, its only like 5 bucks. Just very skimpy toppings, cheese and sauce on their pies.

Avalanche is the worst for having a cardboard crust. I don't care that their ingredients are more natural, it tastes like ass.

If you are around Dayton, you can have your national chain pizza, or you can have Marion's.

As the residential white trash fat guy, I think my opinion matters most on this subject, and I agree with most.

1) Little Ceasars
2) Pizza Hut
3) Domino's
4) East Of Chicago

I'll order pizza from pretty much any place else.

Courtside is some good shit.

Avalanche wins awards because the hippies in Athens like their focus on all natural, even though it makes for a cardboard crust, pasty sauce, and glue cheese on every pizza.
