Gordon will find ways to get open/get his. You act like Alex Smith has a maximum reach of 10 yards with the football. Just because he doesn't throw it deep very often doesn't mean he can't and wouldn't if Gordon was wide open like he usually is.

Point is, if Jason Campbell can get gordon the ball, so can Alex Smith.
Alex Smith might actually not be able to throw the ball 20 yds. His arm is worse than McCoys. KC Chiefs will get bounced in their first round playoff game, (2nd round since they'll get a bye), book it.

The broncos will probably overtake the chiefs in the division, so they won't get a bye. I think they win the WC playoff game tho.

The chiefs could legit get the browns at home. Lol. Come on they'll win their WC game at arrowhead.

Bowe runs bad routes. He runs particularly bad routes when he isn't going deep. Gordon can run good routes and runs the crossing patterns and out patterns 10x better than Bowe. Gordon would be fine with Alex Smith because he can run any route and take it for big gains after the catch. Switch Gordon and Bowe on KC and McCluster and Avery don't have the numbers they do, Gordon would be getting those looks and catches. He might get the deep targets as long catches, but his numbers would be fine and he would adapt cause he is way better than Bowe.

If you are a wildcard team you don't host the wild card game. This is what I'm saying. The broncos can overtake them in the division and the chiefs will be on the road for the first week of the playoffs. They can have the 2nd beat record in the league and be on the road lol.

I just assumed we would post on the Cleveland general thread for the bye. We want a bye week thread?

I dont know if you guys have found your QB in Campbell, but you have found your coach with Chud.

The aggressive play calling late in the game was something you have not seen from the franchise in a very long time. Does he call the plays? Even if not you know he directed the OC to be aggressive. The browns yesterday looked like they were playing to win and not playing not to lose like they have for so long.

Didn't get a chance to post yet but the game yesterday was amazing in person. Crowd was into it from the start. Campbell played very well. He did miss some open receivers (Gordon in particular). But I was extremely happy with his play. Also bess played his best game as a brown yesterday which was nice to see.

S&L, start the thread before one of our guys gets busted for speeding, drugs, etc....

You started last week's thread, and we won. You don't start a bye week thread, something is going to happen.

Start the damn thread. Thanks

This. Well said. Dwayne Bowe has been an avg. receiver during his career, outside of 2010 when he had a Braylon Edwards 1-year breakout. Bowe is good a one thing, running straight down the field.

Actually Bowe isn't that fast, so streaking down the field isn't his deal. Only ran a 4.51 40 yd dash time coming out of college, doubt he's sub 4.6 now.
