But, he has the potential to be good his last 2 years. Pretty raw right now.

I wanted IU to get him, but not to upset they didnt. More pissed OSU got Lee lol.

I think Thompson will be a presence, but he has to develop a good bit to be any kind of force in the paint, despite his gifted size.
I realize he can't play next year, I was referring to the recruits coming in next year as well as Lee, and then adding Thompson to the mix the following season (ie "and beyond") ;)

Yeah, not really sure why I quoted you lol. It was just a general observation on the whole situation.

He also has David Bell coming in next year but he sounds like a project as well. Getting Thompson must mean he's not confident in getting a top big man in 2015. Really hope either Bell or Thompson can develop because it's getting old watching shitty post players.

Bell is a project. He will redshirt next year without question. OSU staff is not real happy with this development this past year. Work ethic is questionable. Getting Thompson was huge. Yes, he is raw but he is a late bloomer and has good potential. He'll definately help out when he is eligible to play.

OSU received a commitment from Austin Grandstaff today. An ESPN Top 60 player.

Nice pickup. The more shooters the better.

Lose Kennard, add a top 40 player who has good connections with a top 10 player. Worked out alright.

Plus him and Grandstaff are really good friends so that should help. Think Mitchell was really recruiting him to Ohio State as well.

He must not be as close to his father as Mike or maybe his father is getting better?

Can't Fucking Wait. My 3 favorite cities to visit and big matchups. So excited they finally finalized the dates and locations.

Very excited to see OSU in one of these 4 team 3 year rotations. I have loved watching KU in the Champions Classic. Was at it this year in Chicago and would be great to make a December trip out there. Vegas is also cool, MGM Garden Arena?

As of right now, yes. This could change. Mitchell also has some health issues with this back as well. The football brother transferring wasn't all about their ill father either.

Basically couldn't cut it. What Meyer has going on at OSU, as far as the pressure, stress, competition...isn't for everyone.

Not optimistic at all about Bragg going to OSU because he fully seems Kentucky bound, but if they can finish with Daniel Giddens(seem to be sitting good with him) and Esa Ahmad(not sure where they stand, but would think they're sitting pretty good) then that will be a very good class. Think they should have one spot left after those 2, assuming Russell doesn't blow up and leave after this year. If Bragg comes then 2015-2016 should be one hell of a year.

Trevor Thompson (SO)
D'Angelo Russell (SO)
Keita Bates-Diop (SO)
David Bell (SO)

I don't see UK getting more than 2 of Jaylen Brown, Chieck Diallo, Carlton Bragg or Skal Labissiere. I'd actually bank on the first 2 and they already have Matthews who is a SG/SF.

Jaylen Brown and Daniel Giddens are teammates, but UK hasn't really looked at Giddens at all despite them being huge on Brown lately.
