You reach a certain point where "good" isn't good enough. That's why Karl got fired from Denver to begin with. Losing in the first round every year (fine, 8 out of 9 years) eventually stops cutting it.
I am all behind this thought process. Guys like Norv Turner and Wade Phillips come to mind in the NFL, and Dusty Baker in MLB. I'd rather go with an unknown who could be a stud over somebody who you already know where their ceiling is. Also understand robj's point about Curry and Thompson being in their prime, but I'd rather take the chance over limiting your potential with a retread IMO.

Well Indiana seem to be just fine.

Into the ECF.

Although, they're probably pretty bad, just the East.

RIP Washington :(
really enjoyed watching them the past few weeks. I just hope Indiana can get their shit together and challenge Miami.

After all of the craziness of the first round, the conference finals are still going to end up with the 4 teams that 90% of people would have picked before the season.

One thing I learned from these playoffs is how big of crybabies the Clippers are. Might explain why none of the stars have never nor will ever win anything of significance.

Still waiting on Tigerfan to chime in on OKC, who have seemed to lose their chance at a title.

Steven Adams was the reason they won that game but I don't think either team played particularly well in Game 6. Durant just hit everything in the second half

So is Westbrook, he is constantly crying and whining to the officials and cussing along with not running back on D.

What a huge blow for them, Steven Adams this is your chance to show if you're for real.

The NBA would never let this happen. Maybe OKC, but no way they put Indiana over Miami.

Yes, most likely, but if the series did get close somehow, Miami would get all the benefits because of LeDouchbag.
