They won 29 games. Finished 9 games back of the playoffs. In the God awful Eastern Conference.

I will admit there is some talent there, but come on.
This.

Stuckey with 14 ppg on 44% shooting off the bench you wouldn't take? I already said I'm not a fan of Jennings.

Just saw the highlights...the clips are seriously mad? LOL

They fouled the player, who gives a fuck whose ball it was, refs missed the call AGAINST the Thunder.

Then it was def a foul on RW's 3.

Didn't the same thing happen in the Clips and Warriors series and the team that fouled(even though it wasn't called) was awarded the ball?

Point is, refs missed the blatant foul call, so don't get all pissy about the call, doc.

Yeah and it was a shooting foul as well. Jackson would have gone to the line.

But in the previous series, I believe, they actually got the replay correct. This time they completely bitched the replay.

Yes but that isn't reviewable, the ball went off Jackson, should have been Clipper's ball. They make two free throws and the game is over. Now they have to win two straight games instead of having to win one of two, I'd be pissed too.

Kerr takes the GSW job.

How does everyone think he fares? I think he will be a very good coach in the NBA.

Hard to say, seems like a really nice guy who really understands the nuances of the game. Hopefully he holds players accountable because that roster is very good. This says a lot about where the Knicks are right now for him to pass them and Phil up.

He does live in Arizona, so going West is logical, when you couple he gets to coach Steph.

But yeah, he gets the little things that you dont typically hear from announcers. He and JVG (Kerr moreso) always point out little things that make huge differences in games.

I don't understand why GS wouldn't want someone who is established with experience. Lionel Hollins, George Karl, Jeff Van Gundy. A lot of unknowns with Kerr who somehow became the hot coaching commodity out of nowhere.

Good question, perhaps holding out for the right opportunity?

His health maybe? Maybe teams dont want to have him come on board and have to retire in 2 years...

Excellent point, completely forgot about that aspect.

I don't think it's surprising that a lot of teams would prefer an unknown over someone with 10+ years coaching at multiple stops and no rings to show for it. You reach a certain point where "good" isn't good enough. That's why Karl got fired from Denver to begin with. Losing in the first round every year (fine, 8 out of 9 years) eventually stops cutting it.

He did make it to one, and unfortunately had the Jordan Bulls. But, yeah, I get your point.

I wouldn't waste my key player's primes on an unknown commodity but that's just me.

Was either him or Chalmers, I would have let Chalmers have it as he's been off.

Karl was just the easy example since he was being discussed at the time. There are other guys that I would throw into the same boat... D'Antoni, JVG, Skiles, McMillan. I actually like a couple of the guys on that list, so I wouldn't necessarily feel that way, but I can definitely understand why some teams choose to go that route.
