Boycotting the team is dumb. He's in LA, the teams going to make money regardless. If black people wanna really make him uncomfortable, show up in huge numbers and GO to the game. He doesn't want you there, it'll make him feel awkward.

The Clippers are a franchise of the nba. I'm sure they'll think of something....hell, Marge Schott was banned twice from day to day operations for shit she said. So basically, they're going to fine him a mil and give him an open ended suspension while pressuring him hard to sell, and he will sell because the NBA can't force him to, but they can fuck him over in other ways as an owner."

If I was commish the first flop/flail would be $100,000, then double every time after. Just listened to the whole Sterling audio, and it wasn't as explosive as I expected based on the reaction it's getting. The conversation didn't make a whole lot of sense, but he didn't use any slurs, and went out of his way multiple times to say he didn't hate black people, even as she kept baiting him. I was kind of picturing a Michael Richards situation.
Also checked, and California is a 2-party state. Not sure how problematic that would be for any NBA action, but assuming Sterling didn't consent to have the conversation recorded he could easily press wiretapping charges against the girl.
