Eh but come on they've been playing forever without their top 3 forwards and it's not just anyone, you've got two elite players and a pretty good damn scorer out. Neal, Malkin and Crosby have played 187 games while Datsyuk, Zetterberg and Franzen have played only a 132 games. So the three Pens players I mentioned would have to miss 18
more games a piece just to equal that. I mean no way with those 3 out for that length of time would Pitt have 101 points by now
It's just fun to see this bunch that have faced so much adversity, 7 of their current skaters began the season in the minors, and now they're in the catbirds seat for a playoff berth. Would have never guessed it
