My idea of saving Ubaldo till Wednesday is not very popular apparently. We can easily beat Scott Diamond and the Twins with Danny tomorrow. I would rather have Ubaldo and his 1.0 ERA over his last 7 starts in the elimination game. Nothing against Danny, but that is a lot to ask of a guy who has been in the majors for about 7 weeks.

Also....if the Rays lose tomorrow, it doesnt matter if we win or lose. We host on Wednesday no matter what Texas does..

Well...I would say that they value this game like it is an elimination game. They don't want any part of the 3 team gauntlet that could happen. At least that is what I'm thinking

This is really unbelievable when you look back at how they played earlier in the year. Never thought they would get to 90 wins. The starting pitching has been lights out the second half.

If the Tribe can hold on...wouldn't it be in our best interest for both the Rays and Rangers to win so they have to burn a starter and use the pen in a 1 game playoff?

Absolutely. If they play in a tiebreaker, id much rather the Rangers win too.

By the way, Tigers just got no hit and swept by the Marlins....a win today and we missed the Division by 1 game.
