Not sure he would be bothered by negative feedback to him because he wasn't saying that....he is supporting his teammates on offense who were struggling. He sounds like he has the right attitude towards it. Hell, the very next play after the boos he deflected the pass from the LOS and Harrison returned it for a TD (momentarily) starting a 31 point quarter.friendfromlowry;1538576 wrote:http://espn.go.com/nfl/story/_/id/9996832/michael-johnson-cincinnati-bengals-stands-fan-comments
SMH. Get some thicker skin. Idk why these guys think their immune to feedback on their negative performance. If I'm under-performing at my job, someone is going to let me know. He can be sick of boos all he wants, but the fanbase is sick of Dalton holding a very talented team back.
Regardless, booing is dumb. I'm sure it was the guys that had been drinking and tailgating and are just so invested but how about some patience? What was it late in the first quarter? Under-performing at your job? No one is going to boo you for under-performing from 9:00-11:00, especially if you are giving the effort.....and if your boss was tearing your ass for 1/4 a day's performance when you were the top worker in your office, you'd be pissed as would all of us.
As for thicker skin....if booing shouldn't bother him then him defending his offensive teammates shouldn't bother you or any other Bengals fan. I'd much rather he defend them than jump on the boo wagon and start blaming them.
tl;dr.....booing is dumb
