The last 2 min of that game were the worst Homer job in the history of the Big Outhouse ( and that's saying something based upon their usual quick clock antics ). But today they earned a whole new level of cheaty McCheats.

Really bummed about the loss..I was really looking forward to burn Akron down tonight. Part of it is Michigan having a hangover from the ND game, but I was impressed how we fought back multiple times during the game after the huge underdogs are supposed to fold. Hopefully it carries on for the rest of the season and the Zips are watchable. Confident in Bowden leading the program.

While the clock was a bit iffy, Akron did not get that first down and the way they managed that set of downs, it really didn't end up mattering with the clock. Now, had the first down been granted, it would've then really mattered how many downs they could have squeezed into 15 seconds versus 24 seconds.

Akron didn't get screwed at all!!! The time doesn't matter as they still were able to run the maximum number of plays since the last play was 4th down with 5 seconds left.

The replay determined it wasn't a first down, therefore the clock was suppose to run. If it was determined that it was a first down they would have gotten the 9 seconds back!

All of you should probably reviewing the rules of the game before running your mouths.

Defend all you want Slingshit...America believes they got screwed and scUM will forever be defending themselves for getting beat by Akron but they cheated to win. Actually a win - win for scUM haters.

I swear that there was a running clock after a dead ball foul after a timeout, but the play by play sheets say otherwise.

They had 4 chances inside the 8 yard line, and they failed 4 times. Game over. Props to Akron for fighting hard the whole game.

Yes, Akron was screwed because the correct ruling on the clock was made. Makes sense to me.

Only people who don't know the rules think that. So no surprise you do.

A correct statement would be "America can't believe Akron almost beat Michigan."

If they don't win by at least 3 touchdowns against UConn this week, then I will be really worried, instead of mildly worried.
