its crazy with giambi, he is batting like what, .160 and has more RBIs than people who get somewhat regular playing time.HitsRus;1496821 wrote:worth noting...from the Tribe website.

Off to a nice start. 2-0 currently, bases loaded, with 1 out. Who was the one out? Asdrubal popped out to short right, cuz he SUCKS. I can barely take watching him flail up there. Dude needs to go.

I am starting to think this season will end with Cabrera at bat. Whether its the final game of the season or game 7 of the world series. Cabrera will be at bat with a runner in scoring position. its amazing how the game of baseball always puts you on the spot when you are struggling.iclfan2;1496887 wrote:Off to a nice start. 2-0 currently, bases loaded, with 1 out. Kluber exits after 5 innings and 60 pitches....good come back start.
Pestano comes in in relief of Hill and promptly gives up 3 runs. ...6-4 Tribe bottom of 6.
Raburn gets on to lead off the Tribe 6th...Francona runs Carson for him. Three batters later Carson is still on first.
...never moved....going to the 7th.

I hope this thread goes until November.
Mariners handle the Rays. Tribe now a game out. O's win too and stay tied with Cleveland. A's and Royals win as well but Detroit and Texas both lose tonight.

Early season he was a bench player. Got a few more ABs (but should've been 5 games a week). Then got hurt and is in his first games back. My guess is we see him a lot in September.Ironman92;1496962 wrote:Checking through stats....Raburn is having an outstanding season OPSing .950, but under 200 AB????

I can't believe these guys are still in it. I thought for sure they were done after the Atlanta/Detroit stretch. There is no quit in them. Hopefully swisher's playoff experience leads this team to a playoff spot.
Also I am sure this has been discussed, but we shouldn't start a new thread until they lose a series. Hope this helps.

It also helps Tampa and the Rangers are tanking.
The schedule sets up nicely for the Trobe. If they can keep winning series, I think they can catch one of them, and snatch the last spot.
The O's and Yanks have the murder of the East, while the Tribe enjoys the easier schedule.
Gotta finish off the sweep today.
