Raburn not starting. But Kubel is. That's stupid. Aviles out again also.

Dont forget about Brantley who is pickin splinters out of his ass too. Tito is an idiot. Dont care how many championships he won.iclfan2;1496522 wrote:Raburn not starting. But Kubel is. That's stupid. Aviles out again also.

My bad. But he's probably still picking splinters out in the waiting room.iclfan2;1496536 wrote:Brantley is in fl for his kids birth. But Kubel just k'd w 2 on. Then drubs popped out.

No problem, but I agree, Tito needs to put the best lineup on the field, regardless of pitching matchups or veterans. Asdrubal straight sucks right now. Worst swing I've seen in a long tim. Just flails up there, literally flails. It's ugly. Not much discussion tonight, but Tribe up 4-1 right now going into the 8th.

Joe Smith 1-2-3 eighth...let's get some insurance.
Agree that Cabrera is really hurting the offense....IDK how many runners he's left on base tonite...6 maybe?

Swisher with a grand slam...the Tribe blows it open...8-1. He signals O-H-I-O to the crownd behind the dugout.

....and that's the ball game.
Matt Albers adds a strikout to end the game....15 K's tonite for Tribe pitching, 12 for Scott Kazmir (in 6 innings)

Real nice win. I know I have always been 'just win series' but we need to sweep the Mets. They look like they have given up.
A quick look around the league...looks like Yanks will blow a big lead and lose. Tigers and O's will win. Rays playing in Seattle...last look had that one tied at 1 but still pretty early there.

Let it go, ya drunj. You're on a roll. lmao
Working 2nd shift this week so I haven't seen any games. Sounds like Kazmir had it going tonight.

I'm glad you listed the Royals, because they definitely are not out of it. The 6 games remaining with them are going to be huge and it would be wise to not count on those games going in the win column. Think what those games mean to KC...they need those games to leapfrog us, so you know they are going to be all out.
agree...at this point it's all about winning games and stacking as many notches in the win column as possible. A lot of people seem to think 90 wins is a magic number....but 90 might not be enough.I know I have always been 'just win series' but we need to sweep the Mets.

Game time tonite is 6:05....Corey Kluber returns!......don't care who the F*** is pitching for the Mets.
....not quite 16,000 there to see 'K'azmir and the pen strike out 15 Mets......that 1K people for every 'K' put up on the board. Let's hope for 20K to show up tonite!

worth noting...from the Tribe website.
---The Tribe has gotten MLB's okay to start with the postseason ticket process. Season ticket holders may begin putting in their orders. I've got mine
---Nick Swisher has sponsored an extra fireworks nite on his dime...as a thank you to Tribe fans for welcoming him here this year. Sat. nite 9/21 will feature a fireworks show set to Ohio themed music hand picked by Swish:thumbup:
---• Entering Friday, Ryan Raburn (4.60), Jason Giambi (5.83) and Jason Kipnis (6.36) represented the Indians' top three batters in terms of at-bats per RBI. Among American League hitters with at least 165 at-bats, Raburn, Giambi and Kipnis ranked third, 15th and 24th, respectively, in that area.
