We're all sepia? Sepia is considered a shade of brown not a range of colors. I can't find a good "image" for the color sepia, but I can tell you we all aren't sepia.

But, in general you might have an underlying point that is good. It would be better if people would look to see how we're alike instead of different sometimes. Differences are important, but so are similarities, we are still all human and we shouldn't hate or act in a prejudiced way towards someone because of the color of their skin.

I agree...But its perfectly fine to do it based upon religious preference or which CFB team you support.

Considering things you've said recently I'm assuming you're serious about religious preferences and completely disagree as those in general are based upon where you are born (something not in your control). But that's also the reason that I particularly don't buy into a specific religion. I'm not opposed to the idea, but in general it's a lot of cultural perpetuation to instill social norms into children.

As far as CFB teams, sure, hate away.

I realize that what I have said disturbs your world view, and most importantly of how you view yourself but at least you realize this. But if this is true, where is the outrage? ...and why are they pandered to while others of differing views are silenced/denied or ignored.

power corrupts...once people of any color get involved with power, poitics and money ideals go out the window in any color. find me an honest polititcian?? i think both those guys started out in the right place doing good things as do most. our system is broken at this point i cant blame them for playing the game

My dad was an old racist dinosaur until my brother (who's single by the way) adopted 6 black children. The 4 and 5 year olds hang all over him and can't wait to go to grandmas and grandpas. And he can't wait for them to visit. I never thought he'd change but if my father can change..there's hope.

Being racist is hardly an "old people" or "racist dinosaur" thing.

There are plenty of people - black & white - in the self-professed "enlightened and all-inclusive" 20 and 30 something generations who would make a Klansman blush.

Every generation thinks it's superior to the previous generation.

20 years from now all of you will be laughing at the next generation of "enlightened" fucktards as they label your naive asses "dinosaurs".

I suspect when subsequent generations look at this period they will discuss the contrdiction of what we said and legislated, and what we did in making sure that racism wasn't eradicated, but perpetuated and institutionalized in government and media.

I've always hated young people Believer ever since well I guess since I turned old. I recognize how much smarter I am than they are and how much wealthier I am than they are which allows me to be a dick to many of them as they perform work for me...makes me smile to hear them bitch and moan about Boomers, love screwing with them.

FIFY. The truth is that racial relations have deteriorated in the last 30 years or so, and especially in the last few years. Why?

I strongly recommend that people do charitable work in inner cities and see what the problems are. There isn't just one but many problems, however they start in two areas: (i) the collapse of the family and (ii) the inability to have an efficient public school system.

We need to stop listening to eggheaded limousine liberals from Marin and Montgomery County that cry for more funding for their research, yet go back to their gated communities and withdraw themselves from reality.

No, what makes this view exhibit A of right-wing paranoia is the idea that it is White Liberalz who've seduced black-americans into voting for dependency rather than voting for the true patriots who believe in real empowerment. Black Americans are perfectly capable of choosing for themselves what party and what candidates they think are offering proposals that are in their best interest. Encapsulated within your worldview is a pathetic view of black Americans as well as a fanatical view of white liberals.

It is additionally laughable to suggest that modern day conservatism carries the mantle of MLK who was way more socialist, if not outrigh a communist, than anybody today with influence in the American Left. I bet you want a classeless society too, eh??? lol

Furthermore, the octegenarians in the Greatest Generation parsed/divided/sectionalized groups of people as much if not more so than we do...they just did it in a negative way...instead of a positive way. Chinatown's, little Italy's, etc all existed long before the attack of the p0lit1caL c0rrect Librulz out to destory Murica. Differences based on race and national origin have long been institutionalized...It's just much more positive when we celebrate our unique cultures now than it used to be.

Race-Relations aren't worse than they were in the 80's. This is just a sampling but is a good one.




Even in the 80's less than half of Americans supported interracial marriage. "Old Racist Dinosaurs" were a lot closer to mainstream.
