I can't believe people still maintain a marriage is between a man and a woman.
I can't believe that people still believe smoking marijuana should be criminalized.

Example being the post-Trayvon Martin ruling, and you had people bitching and moaning on the internet as well committing actual violence on the streets. If I recall, when they were ruling on Michael Jackson years ago, people were outside the courthouse celebrating. Who gives a fuck. Get a life.
The stuff in these posts is what I agree with the most on this thread (well, other than Pick6 not being surprised by anything...I was reading this (

People all concerned about gays marrying seem to just want to use religion as an excuse to practice bigotry. Which, I guess shouldn't be a surprise since, through time, that's been one of the primary uses of religion, but still...
People who think marijuana is so bad it should be outlawed or restricted (despite its potential use in the medical field) and the fact that regardless of their potential negative effects, tobacco and alcohol are very legal are idiots who apparently are stuck in the Reefer Madness mindset.
And as for the people getting hilariously invested in things like Trayvon and other "flavor-of-the-month" news articles, all I can do is laugh. This site's Trayvon case thread was one of the best things ever. You have a random kid shot by a random man in a random neighborhood in a random state which gets blown out of proportion by the media and people here and everywhere else run with that and act like this is some super-important, riveting, all-encompassing event that will determine the future of the world.
