Curious what it is without each other. Both go down even more, but do the 3 games Detroit has on us make it a push??

Why? Ubaldo has been frustrating but pretty decent lately other than yesterday

Where did you here this? It's kind of surprising. Not because he doesn't have the stuff. But it would be an extremely pressure packed game to be thrown into, and what would that do to Ubaldo's head?

Francona said they are still weighing options but he hasn't announced a starter for Wednesday or Thursday yet. Salazar only threw 52 pitches Friday for 5 innings. The way Detroit hits ubaldo I think it's a very smart move. Salazar has the command and stuff to really dominate Detroits lineup. It might just pushed ubaldo's start back to Thursday or possibly Friday

Jesus christ.

Anyways, I agree with brining up Salazaar for Ubaldo. Salazaar is dirty .I've seen him pitch twice in Cbus and he's gotten 8 and 11 strike outs on like 3 total hits against

He definitely has the stuff and he's dominated in Cbus. I'm not against it at all. But I'd still be a little surprised.

That does explain them pulling him with a no hitter after 50 pitches.

Exactly they have been very cautious with him lately. They definitely have plans for him in the majors for the last 2 months of the season. I expect to see lindor too once September hits

Looks like he will be facing Fister, and he's 3-0 with a 0.82 ERA since the all star break.

I'm at the lake this weekend, so I am just now weighing in on last nite's game.

The team continues to have defensive hiccups...Aviles blunder in the 9th nearly cost them the game.
As noted earlier by Royal k...speed kills.Bourn and Stubbs won that game for us.
I think this is an asset that hasn't fully been tapped by Tito yet. I would like to see them run more.

This whole Detroit series is going to be a fun one. I am crazy excited for it. Especially with Salazar getting the start Wednesday. If he pitches well I see him in the rotation the rest of the year

I would love to see Lindor when the rosters expand. But this article says otherwise.

I dk I still think he gets called up in September when the rosters expand. Especially if he continues to hit like has. He would have nothing left to prove at AA.

No hitter after 50 pitches and 8 K's! (the bullpen also kept the no hitter until 2 outs in the 9th...)
