Bought an Xbox one at gamestop today at like 1030. I called them thinking there was absolutely no way they would have any left but they had 5. I also bought Ghosts because i'm a douche. COOL STORY BRO.

I did get the $50-off 3DS XL at Target. Two left when I walked in, so I timed it pretty well and didn't have to get up early and feel like an insane douche for scrambling for shit at 2:30 a.m., so this has been a good day.

I read something a couple days ago about a shit ton of problems with crashes and such. Is it really that bad?

Guy I know keeps complaining about it (BF4) on the XB1. I played a little bit for the PC tonight and didn't have any problems.

I've heard its great on PS4

Have had zero problems with my xbox 1, there were a few rare cases of a broken disc drive. Apparently Sony had quite a few problems with hardware and their servers.

The game is great when it works. Shit tons of errors though. Even in single player they had fuck ups where it wouldn't save or just shuts down. they have released 2 patches so far, but I still get at least one crash every 1-2 hours when I play online.

Really? I haven't had any issues, guess I'm lucky lol

BF4 on all systems released broken...

PS4 was totally unplayable for the first week, but there was just a patch released this week that was meant to address a lot of the problems.

XB1 has been playable since release, but I do have occasional problems with being booted to the Xbox home screen out of the game entirely, but in the games online everything runs great.

I played Black OPs II and that was my experience as well. Also it seems everyone just goes sniper(I do as well).

Even though the spawns do get pretty annoying you should be mad at your team, not IW. People just run around in pretty much all game types, there aren't many instances where its even possible to spawn you in a safe area. I still don't know the maps well enough yet which is probably why Im not a fan so far. I might end up getting BF4 if they get the bugs worked out.

It’s official, COD Ghosts is on its way back to Amazon. I just subscribed to battlefield premium instead.



In my house, the Xbox One is pretty much on all day whether my wife has TV on, or Netflix/hulu plus/amazon prime for the kids…I’ve also been playing Battlefield pretty much every night and it has been very convenient (play game, snap football game for a little bit, switch to football and back in seconds).

The voice commands are hit or miss…We use “xbox go to” a lot and it’s very convenient for switching between different apps/games/tv…These commands work pretty much all of the time.

Xbox On turns on the system, sound system, and TV, which is pretty cool, Xbox off turns everything off.


If I wanted to call in and skype with my kids I could do that and pop up on the TV whenever, as long as the system is on they will be notified.



I’ll have to reserve judgement on the PS4…I think for at least the next couple years the Xbox One will be the primary system for everything for me, and I’ll be getting the awesome PS4 exclusives when they come along, so it’s looking like the same way I handled the Xbox 360 vs the PS3 last gen. Right now things are just so close with the games, it will be a few years before the PS4 starts to pull away graphically I’m thinking.

Ps4 for games, xbox1 for techy stuff.

B4f is fine on ps4 now. Only conquest was having major issues.

Buddy of mine got an xbox1 and his game melted inside the system. They sent him a new one and its been fine.

LOL about the game melting...that sucks.

I've read on multiple sites that people who had malfunctions like this are getting free digital game codes from xbox support, so if he did not, I would have him call and ask for a free game..

Microsoft constantly watching you through the connect at a hours. No thanks

It was in stock for about a half hour...gone now. Xbox one is in stock currently on amazon.

Thanks for posting your experiences, guys. Judging by what you all are saying, I'm pretty positive i'm going to stick with my decision to get the XB1.
