3 minutes into the video he starts to turn from her and walk down the stairs when she swings. It does look as if he slaps back. She does cover her face quickly after and you can see the other patrons around looking up at her. So it does seem like he hit her hard but the actual swing doesn't look like it could do that damage.

I'm worried that too many people will make assumption based on her reaction. Her response to swing first may indicate that she was inclined to react negatively and disproportionately to a situation. It's possible that her reaction to his swing was similar in that regard.

At least now we've seen the video. Hyde made a mistake by responding, his initial reaction to swat away her attempt was enough. I can see a 2 game suspension but would be highly surprised if anything other punishment is handed down.

At the 3:17 mark she definitely takes a swing and his left arm kinda blocks it. At the 3:19 mark he steps to her and reaches in to make contact at the head level. You cannot see contact but he did reach in. Urban is going to have to ask him why he steps toward her and whay reach at her?

Well, that video isn't going to help anything. Was really hoping it would be clear one way or the other. It leaves way too much to interpretation.

No kidding. You can't tell if either person made contact. She had to have dropped the case because the video clearly shows she started it.
