Mantooth and I saw "The To Do List" on Saturday and I thought it was really good. It was funny, but also had a great story. Plus, it took Tooth back to his glory days of the early 90s.

This is a strange recommendation but I came across it on Netflix a while back. It's a Swedish film (with subtitles) called Troll Hunter. It was surprisingly good. Speaking of subtitles, you can never go wrong with City of God.

I read about Troll Hunter a few days back. Seemed intriguing. Based (at least to a degree) on the old-time Scandinavian troll myths.

I'm on a roll of bad movies. Just watched The Lifeguard w/ Kristen Bell. Terrible, and disturbing.

The original is so dumb but fun. The sequel actually had some production value...not a lot...but I hated it lol

Now that I've found that pretty much most if not all of the MST3K episodes are on YouTube, I'm methodically going through them. Currently through 2 2/3 episodes of the first season. Currently with Mad Monster, a crappy Poverty Row 1940s ripoff of the Wolfman. That included a mad scientist "making" his werewolf to take out former associates by injecting a retarded guy with wolf's blood. It's as good as it sounds. And with this being the series' first season, the guys hadn't really completely gotten the hang of things, so there's still a few awkward silences when they have no idea how to react to all the nothing going on in the movie.

"The Wolverine" by James Mangold
Saw it on the plane the other day and it was not very good.
The previous Wolverine was worse, horrible actually.

The first Wolverine was MUCH better than this last one.
There was like, what, a whole 2... maybe 3... fight scenes in this last one?
SMH.

I watched The Proposition again the other day and it still holds up as one of my favorite westerns ever. Reminds me a little bit of what a good film version of Blood Meridian would be like. Plus a Nick Cave score never hurts.

Going to see Thor tonight. Can't wait (even tho comic book movies usually let me down, unless it's The Avengers or The Dark Knight Trilogy).
