That's just off the top of my head, but all of those mentioned were critically acclaimed games and did very well.

The PS3 started slowly, but IMO, it became the best console. That momentum has carried over to the PS4. Sony did to the PS3 what Microsoft is trying to do to the Xbox One, and that's focus more on the media aspect.

Sony is getting back to the core of the gamer, which is why I buy a system.

And technically, I guess you could add Indie games such as Journey, which has received high praise. Sony is much more favorable to indie developers than Microsoft and their greed is.

One of the reasons games like DayZ and others may skip out on the Xbox.

Good list although...I absolutely hated MGS4, so boring.

Really? I can honestly say MGS4 is the best game I have EVER played. Hands down, not even close.

Stealth games are not my thing unless they are named Hitman. And the 45 min cut scenes were annoying, but I always try to watch things when going through a game the first time.

The MGS series was always my favorite... 1-4 are all golden.. However, the series has now fallen to third behind the Uncharted and Mass Effect series.

I think I might be going back to Sony. Destiny not being an xbox1 exclusive is a big reason. That game SHOULD be pretty amazing.

Have you played the first two? Infinite has the best storyline and ending in a game I've ever played.

You know a game I really enjoyed a few summers was LA Noire. I thought it was actually a really entertaining game and the story line rocked, Assassins Creed 3 was good but not great

I LOVED LA Noire. Excellent change of pace from R*

And for those of you talking about Destiny, it does indeed look badass... One of the reasons going with the PS4 was so easy.

I'm working my way through Last of Us, it's definitely worth the hype.
I had been playing Far Cry 3 prior to that, and that was one of the best games I've ever played.

Just finished the game - thought the ending was interesting....not what I expected.

Played Bioshock 2 - good game. I remember the sisters scaring the shit out of me. Unfortunately I've heard enough bad things about Infinite that I'm not all that interested in picking it up.

LA Noire was visually epic, but kind of boring, IMO. Same with Far Cry 3 - never finished it because I got tired of doing the same thing (climbing towers, taking over enemy bases) over and over.

But definitely looking forward to RDR 2...probably one of my favorite games ever

How hard would this game be to play for someone that has barely played any games, at all, in years? Like, I used to play a little Madden but I didn't have the patience to become skilled at all the different buttons and combinations.
