Big Red was 6-4 this year . I came up through Steubenville and we didn't have anybody else on our team and we won state in DII in 1984 . I played on 3 straight unbeaten teams. Our program was great then and had two more division II state title games in the 80's and another final four team . Steubenville kids. Steubenville Central fielded several great teams and a couple of state titles . one time in the same year as Steubenville Big Red . we just have people who like HS football in our town period. big Red had some down years in the 90's . Not many but 4 or 5 years without a playoff game. all you haters keep trying to deminish our program all the time . Fact is Big Red is steubenville kids . I admitt that in the last decade or so Big Red and Steubenville city schools has had an increase of kids that come from other districts . We have also had some leave. I would say more come in and some play footbnall and some don't . we are nothing what so ever like the university of Mooney or Ursulin or SVSM . those schools do nothing but recruit and they would stink if they didn't get kids from 20 towns or districts. I don't need to lie . You hate us anyway for no damn good reason . you have always bad mouthed us. you never were a good sport at winning and you are even worse when you lose. you need to back up and look at the real problem schools. you guys felt that when SVSM got you . Ursulin(e) had a losing record this year and lost in the first round of the playoffs.

My school is the only respectable member from the AAC. We have dominated you, and we don't care that a large percentage of your players come from West Virginia.

We do have a combine where we look at kids from multiple states, but that is well within OHSAA rules. We never get kids from WV because Big Red has control of that area. What is your all-time record against us?

We are on the WVA boarder. We have gotten a few kids from WVA. so what . You get kids from all over the place same as Mooney . You should dominate with the money your program brings in . Why did Iggy own you for so long and why do you lose to SVSM and Ursulin . Go play the University of Mooney and see how that works out for you.

A few post ago you said they didn't have kids from WV. Now it is up to a few? As long as schools are following the OHSAA rules, why does it matter where the kids are from? We are 41-5-2 against you in the all time series.

This is Massillon's best team ever......they won 2 more state titles during the off season......Mooney would have no chance.
