If he can stick around for 600 it will be hard to keep him out.....he'll retire one day out of nowhere.

Way off subject, but is Jaime Moyer a hall of famer? Lol...I don't feel like looking it up, but stat wise....he has to be up there.

Also, Albert has 0 chance of getting in. Dominant but not for long enough and the media hates him

If there was a "Senior PGA Tour" of MLB, he'd be a HOFer lol

Yup, hate him so much that they didn't give him the MVP award despite beating Mo Vaughn in every statistical category while playing for the best team in baseball. Complete fucking joke, and another reason why I hate journalists. Just a bunch of butt hurt bitches with clouded judgement. Kinda like fly4fun as a mod.

Seems like the old timers of baseball journalism are the worst of the worst

Vladimir Guerrero
Albert Belle

I think you have to have the milestone locks, dominant for closer to a decade, dominant with some longevity or incredible longevity with very good (Craig Biggio, some may say Andre Dawson, Palmeiro had he not got caught, Don Sutton, Gaylord Perry, Phil Niekro....Ozzie and Omar can be thrown in here with less offense)
I guess we could clarify and say Top 5 for 5/6 years or Top 10 for a decade...

Cause I agree, Albert didnt do enough. I also would say he was dominant for all those year, yet finished top 10 in MVP...wouldnnt have guessed that.

The fact Rickey Henderson wasn't a unanimous decision proves that.

The strike of 94 and 95....those years were just silly

But he would be a guy that if he wasn't quite CY material those 4 years....his very good/longevity of 18? Straight 15+ wins, 16? GG, only missed 2 or 3 starts in 19 years?

While this isn't extreme, I'd venture that most baseball players don't train line BP.

If they do they don't video and post it.

Why's that? Training videos are some of the most popular on YouTube...

I know Tim Duncan has some monster hill set up that he trains on and Walter Payton used to do brutal stuff on hills.

Those damn broad jumps up the hill would destroy your ass....those impressed me.

Ok....I've never you tubed training videos, are there a lot of professional athletes doing this (I honestly don't know, but would be surprised)

Sadly I follow Byron Mullens on twitter and I cringe when he puts his workout calories burned total twitter pic...but they are impressive 1400-1500 calories burned and those are some killer totals.

Milestones would be 10 GG, 3k hits, 500HR, 1500 RBI.

Dominant would be someone who is top 10 in MVP for like 5 years out of 6. Pujols, A-Rod, Miggy...those guys can retire today and be in the HOF.

Very few 2B in the Hall have reached those numbers. Different expectations for different positions.

I think Jerry Rice is probably most famous for his workouts.

I think the most important stat that BP should worry about is what his W.A.R is.
